Wera8000 C SB Zyklop Speed Multi-function Ratchet, 1/2" x 277 mm, 05073262001

These are very nice ratchets, good quality feel to them, very smooth, nice to use, a really nice tool to have in the tool box.My only issue is the price, I also have the normal Zyklop full metal ratchets & I love them, these are more expensive then the normal ones so unless you would really benefit from the rotating head I would save the money & go for the normal full metal body Wera ratchets. I feel you would really need to benefit from being able to adjust the angle of the ratchets head to justify spending the extra money.

I am a big fan of Wera tools and have many of their screwdrivers, so it was only natural when I needed a 1/2 ratchet that I would get this one. I have been eyeing up these Zyklop ones for ages as I imagine the rotating head is going to be very hand for getting around objects when working on a car.I've only just received it, so not used it much yet, but the weighty quality feel to the tool is really satisfying, it feels practically indestructible. Very happy I finally bought one. Highly recommended.

You get what you pay for at the end of the day, pure quality and a satisfying solid feel to the ratchet. Not used in anger as yet so to speak but l can see by its function and engineering that it will last a long time. Okay at £50+ pounds it is not cheap however it should last, bought to replace my old functioning 1/2” drive ratchet which is 40+ years old now. Went the whole hog and bought the short and long extension bars to complete the set, these are well engineered too and not flexible as far as being bendy but rigid although flexible in their use. Recommended.

Brilliant tool, excellent ratchet which allows the angle of the handle in relation to the head to change, very handy.Quality is great and it's comfortable to use

This is a great, well engineered and well designed piece of kit but as it's only 270mm long it's not really 'hardcore' e.g. weel nut removal. Also the handle is not shaped to accept an extension bar for more leverage.

I brought this as a upgrade, I wanted more leverage than my 3/4 inch ratchet socket set could give, and I am impressed at the leverage, and versatility of the tool. With its smooth ratchet action, you have a screw screwdriver, (provided you have purchased the adapter) and ratchet socket set, all in one.

As a qualified tradesman there are tools and tool manufacturers that each person swears by. Knipex, Wiha and Wera are my go to products and this ratchet is in my opinion the market leader for price and quality.The build strength is exemplary and you can feel the quality the minute you pick it up. I generally use long reach sockets which I bought separately and decided to purchase the Zyklop ratchet to compliment my tool set. Love the way the head spins and angles are changed.If there was any criticism it would be that the handle end could be a bit slippy, i would prefer a slightly grippier feel to it but this is being extremely picky.Highly recommend
