Great quality for the price
For many years, I've owned nothing but flats, which are fine for my office job and staying home but have proved to be impractical on those odd occasions when I'm roped into outdoor activities. But then we got that massive freeze a couple of years ago, and I quickly realized that my footwear was a big problem. My little flats slid on even the smallest hint of ice, and they offered zero warmth or protection when they sank my feet into the snow. That's when I finally decided I needed to buy some sturdier footwear, but finding the right ones was proving to be difficult. That's when I stumbled upon these.Real leather, so they won't fall apart after only a couple of wears? Check. Waterproof, so my feet won't be soaked and freezing in bad conditions? Check. Sturdy, rugged sole that's less likely to send me slipping and sliding? Check. And best of all? They're ridiculously affordable!Today I wore these for the first time, and I couldn't be happier. They're wonderfully comfortable, and the ankle support is great. The traction is exactly what I was hoping for, and after running around in them all day, I don't have even a hint of a blister. Now I can finally trek around my dad's property without rolling an akle or slipping on uneven ground, and if I'm ever faced with freezing weather again, I'm all set.

Love the shoes..
Good quality shoe's, I'm so glad they were still by my door.I got the text they were delivered, but I wasn't home.Glad I ordered them!!Didn't wear them outside just tried on feel good on my feet, I'll update when I use them outside..Update!!Still loving the shoes, but it's only the 1st time wearing outside.I'm not sure about using for any mountain trekking, but go for a walk is doable. They do need some time to break in, but they feel decent on the feet right out of box.I'm sending the shoes back, not because of the quality of the shoes, but I ordered 9 wide width women's hiking boots, and what I realized after having to take my right shoe off on the way home because of severe pain that shoes that was sent was size 9M..I'm amazed I wish I could've gotten the 9 wide width women's hiking boots that I'd ordered we wouldn't be here right now..I like the shoes so much I'm going to try buying another pair, Please I ask you I need a 9 WIDE WIDTH WOMEN'S, please do not send me 9 MEDIUM THEY DO NOT FIT, AND FOOT PAIN WHEN I WORE THEM TO LONG.9 WIDE WIDTH WOMEN'S..

Wide is definitely wide.
I bought my size in a wide as I normally wear. I had to return them -they were just too wide. The side to side width felt good but, there was too much room above my foot. I couldn't tighten them at all. Seemed like a good boot but, they were just too big for my feet. Which is odd because most are still too small. But like I said seems like a good boot.

Great for wide feet.
I usually wear a 7.5 2E, or extra wide shoe, which makes shoe shopping a nightmare. I've been hunting for a new pair of hiking boots for a year now. I've tried Merrill, Salomon, Keen, (all shoes I've warn in the past)... the list goes on. The first thing I notice, if I can get my foot in at all, it that there is always pressure on the top of my foot and my feet feel instantly fatigued. Not so with these. I was a little put off by the price at first. I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for and these are very reasonably priced. When I got them, though, I was surprised. My foot went in and didn't feel squeezed. My toes did, however go all the way to the end. So I sent the 7.5 W back and ordered a 8.5 W.Foot heaven! The first time I wore them was to an all day 4X4/rock crawl competition. There was a lot of walking and I didn't have any trouble with the shoes. Not a sore spot, not a blister, nothing. These aren't even an extra wide, just a normal wide. I have plenty of room and can wear these all day without foot fatigue.I have yet to wear them in wet or cold weather but walked through wet grass with out feeling any moisture get through and even after several weeks of wear they still look brand new. Also, they have a hook instead of a whole for the top of the laces so I can tie them tight around my ankle for extra support when hiking or not use the hook and they feel more like a low shoe with plenty of space around my ankles for when I'm sitting at work. Also, I'm a very hefty gal and these fit me like a dream.

Great Boot!
I am very happy with this boot. For me they fit exactly as expected, with thick socks they are perfect (tried with an extra insole and this actually made them too tight). Also, they are very comfortable - I didn't even need to break them in! They feel quite durable and are definitely waterproof, with very good arch/ankle support. Best of all they do not feel overly bulky, they almost feel like sneakers after a little while, and are very stylish as well.I bought these for a hike over the Fimmvörðuháls in Iceland - they stood up to a 6 hour light climb over volcanic ash, rocks, and glaciers, and afterward everything was sore EXCEPT for my feet. It is safe to say these boots will last me a long time, making them an excellent value for the price.

Style is nice but these are UNCOMFORTABLE
The color and style/appearance of these shoes is great. That is what prompted me to buy them over another choice. The ankle support is great and does not rub my ankles. I usually wear a 10 to 10.5 but I ordered an 11. Usually 11’s are too big but these are about 1/4” too small. I used medium thickness socks, nothing thick and changing to a thinner pair of socks did not help. I keep my toenails very short and if I had slight length to my toenails, I wouldn’t have been able to wear the shoe at all. They seem sturdy for the $25 so they are worth it there. But you do get what you pay for as far as comfortability goes —- the foot bed of the shoe was hard as heck, absolutely no cushion or give. They were also pretty stiff other than the upper ankle. I have “burning feet” due to nerve damage and I could not wear these at all because they are so hard, and too small. I will be returning them.
