Farberware Precise Slice Santoku Parer Knife, 3.5 Inch, Red

My Mom had Farberware in her kitchen for years ! It's priced right, it's durable and their cookware, knives and kitchen accessories are very well made and for a reasonable price. I am very happy that are making a Chef style Serrated knife since these are hard to find at a good price. This knife is sharp, easy to clean and very durable. It also fits nicely in my large hands. I consider a #3 cleaver to be the most useful tool in the kitchen or for chopping down trees for firewood. But sometimes a smaller cleaver for fine work or chopping down smaller trees is needed. This mini cleaver is great because though the blade is scaled down, the handle is made for full sized cooks.It's well balanced and does the job with ease. It has a single bevel edge that favors the right handed.It's pretty sharp and useable out of the box but for lazy people like like me who like the weight of the blade to do the work, a couple minutes on a 2000 stone will get you there. So far it seems to hold the edge well.It's not as elegant or refined as high end knives but it's a lot more knife than you might expect for the really low price.

This is a large serrated knife. The handle is easy to grip, it is extremely sharp and it cuts thru most things.I recommend it highly

I received this knife about 3 weeks ago. So far I have had no issues with rust. I really am impressed with the knife itself. It’s sharp and works really well for everyday use. The size of the knife is great. The knife is incredibly easy to clean. I’m a line cook and I use this knife for everything!

My most useful knife, more so then the expensive chef knives. Thin slices of fruit and vegetables cut easily and safely. A+

At the price of this knife I'm not going to complain...too much. I found that the blade has a bend in it and does not cut straight.

This was a replacement for a cheap chop and serve knife and it works great. It hold its edge and easy clean up.

Farberware is a brand I trust and they didn't disappoint with this knife. Easy to hold in your hand, light enough yet strong.

En la publicación dice que también es bueno para cortar pan y para eso lo compre pero no corta bien el pan, incluso lo corta mal.El material y acabado se nota de buena calidad pero no cumple para lo que lo necesitaba.

Ce couteau coupe très, très bien, attention à vos doigts!C’est le meilleur couteau que j’ai eu et j’en ai acheté plusieurs!Léger avec une excellente prise en main.Rapport qualité / exceptionnel!Seul bémol, j’aurais préféré qu’il coûte un peu plus cher et qu’on fournisse un protège-lame.

Since I’m the only one in our household to ever hone or sharpen knives, I decided to have at least one serrated knife around. Therefore, my other knives stay sharp longer.😉

Love these knives; extremely sharp, excellent grip, different and perfect sizes for various kinds of cutting and chopping and I was looking for serrated. Love them.
