Q: What kind of stand is recommended for this light?

Impact Air-Cushioned Heavy-Duty Light Stand (Black, 13')....I have been using Manfrotto by Bogen #3365, but this model is out of production. I recommend air cushioned, to help protect the Arri light in case the stand is not tightened and the lamp drops. This will protect the bulb.
