Great finish for a beginner !
Paint arrived quickly and well packaged. I watched a few youtube videos on how to paint a door and took the plunge painting a white uPVC back door. 1 can of paint was only enough to just about cover with 2 coats. If I was to paint another which I probably will I would order 2 cans to get a more even coverage. Having said that the wife is happy so that means I am.Update I did buy 2 more cans and painted the front door. For a good coverage I used 1 1/2 cans.

Just the job
We had news windows and doors fitted to our home in the popular 7016 grey - looked great! However the old brown looking garage roller doors became very visible, and looked very tired.I considered wrapping them in vinyl but after doing a hunt around i stumbled upon this paint and thought 'worth a punt' - and worth it it was. Super easy to apply! Dried quickly, great finish. The only thing i didnt do right the first time was order enough paint to fully finish the huge doors. Have just taken order to two more cans and I'm sure this will easily finish the job at hand and be enough to paint our meter covers too.Great stuff! thanks guys

Pleasantly surprised
I'm really impressed with this paint! It arrived earlier than the estimated date, although that was tainted when I opened the package to find the lid smashed to smithereens, the nozzle had come off and there was a strong 'aerosol' smell. I was dubious to say the least! Luckily the nozzle popped back on fine, so I was still able to use it.I bought this on a bit of a whim as I was sick of looking at our patchy front door (it came painted by the manufacturers, but it had started to wear off where I'd cleaned it and it looked tatty) I had a LONG debate with my husband about whether I should use it, as he thought it would make the door look worse. I'm very pleased (and smug) to say, that I stuck to my stubborn guns and used it anyway and we're both very surprised! He's even admitted he was wrong and the door looks really good!!Amazingly, the paint colour matched the original door colour perfectly - I chose from the 'swatch' images and with this in mind, would say they are true to what you get.I went against other reviews and only ordered 1 can to begin with. Luckily, because I was just 'topping up' an original colour, even with 3 coats I still have quite a lot left in the can. I imagine you would need a lot more though if you were doing a door from scratch.Preparation is key for good results, although the product itself is easy to use. It dried quickly and evenly. Very strong smelling and you get quite a 'mist' when using, so definitely wear a face mask and ventilate the area well - the smell lingered for a very short while afterwards but soon went.

First class works brilliant
Fantastic, do your first bit of prep first by cleaning the door thoroughly. Rub the door down with a scotchbrite green pad not sandpaper. Mask off the surrounding area, two coats is more than sufficient and for my door size you will need two cans. Drys in no time

Excellent product
We moved into a house which had brown upvc windows which looked ok on the outside but not very nice inside. After spraying the inside frames anthracite grey they look brand new. The spray can covered about two windows which is a lot cheaper than buying new windows. E

Easy to use, even colour & wears well
Great paint, a bit expensive. But it costs very well , even and even for gives a little over spraying. I have bought a few to do kitchen cupboard doors. (I know it's meant for front doors). It wears well but can be chipped.

Beware of drift! And your lungs!
After extremely careful masking of a large area I was horrified to find the paint 'dust' drifted to the far end of my hallway - a good 4.5 meters from the door I was painting! It was everywhere, all over the walls (which I had masked), up the stairs, everywhere. It took a long time to clear up.I wore a DIY mask covered with a buff, but still my lungs are affected - I'm coughing some seven hours later - be very careful!I used the best part of two cans of slate grey to paint one side of my front door. The coverage was surprisingly light and I had to spray and spray. Overall the process was easy enough, however the first can started to spit when it was nearly empty. So I turned to the second can, shook it for at least 3 minutes, and continued painting. The paint spat again and I had to try to brush out the splashes. The top of the door was reasonably good but the lower part, for some reason I don't understand, had patches of a lighter grey. The door was blue before, so I wondered if the lighter colour could be overspray; I don't know. I am an amateur spray painter but I was so careful to follow all instructions that I have to say I'm rather disappointed. The colour is good though! And from a distance the effect is what I wanted.
