Romartex Sexy Hold-Ups Cuban Heel with Back Seam 20 Denier- Size S, M, L, XL

I bought these for a 1940s outfit and as such they were perfect. I’m the package they looked very dark (panic) but on were pale skin tone and the seams were brilliant. They seemed to fit really well. But “stay-ups” they are not.I wore them for some walking, sitting on a tube, some more walking, standing around drinking bubbly, then walking to a stage, singing in a choir... then I had a slippy feeling. I just managed to get off the stage and they were around my knees. Trying to elegantly pull them up and walk failed and having had to run to a ladies room, and adjust twice I realised they weren’t staying up. They were also laddered and so off they came.In their defence, it was a ridiculously hot day, and it was sweaty I’m spotlights but they lasted only two hours. They served their purpose but were in the bin after less than one use.I think, they were slightly too short for me, I’m 5’10” and perhaps they’re designed for less energetic use and in cooler situations. I bought two pairs, I only used one, so will see how the other pair *ahem* hold up.

My wife really liked these, the Cuban part of the heel would come right up to the bottom of her calf, Large size, size 5 feet, 31 inch inside leg, very good fit. But the design has changed but the advert has not. These are now a pointed heel, but, I'm they do not reach the bottom of her heel, so all you see is the seam. They still feel nice and stay up but the advertised effect is missing. Bought some more just in case there was a size error but the latest ones are just the same. Quality hold-ups lovely material,although i ordered one size larger to acomadate long legs,which is great but the hold-up lace was to loose to stay up on its own however out came the suspender,problem solved.Will be ordering one size smaller next time,just hope the length stays the same.All in all a great stocking with seams,recomended.Arrived very quickley.

When I opened the packaging, the hold up tights were as advertised and when on, they were a little slack, which was surprising as I'm a big girl. It was the morning of a wedding and I guess should have done a trial run, to assess the stay up potential. But after 5 minutes they were starting to slip down and on further movement around my knees. Nora Batty would have been proud. They didnt inspire confidence unfortunately. Might still use but only when reinforced with further elastic to give proper support.

These stockings are a very good buy. I love seamed stockings and my lady knows that and how to wear them for effect. Love to stroke her legs and she knows where to rub that seam Great value. I am a return customer. Love the products

I really do love my holdups. Having long leg it sometimes hard to find stockings or holdups which are long enough for me. These were perfect perfect perfect. Thank you so much. What a surprise, they really are extra large. I'm 6'4'',size 11 or 12 shoe, 34'' leg and 25'' around the thigh, getting tights or stocking to fit is nearly impossible, but not anymore. I can ditch the usual uniform of trousers all winter and bare legs all summer and take a chance through spring and autumn, now it's dresses and skirts all year. Yippeeeeeeee

I'm 6.1" and slim legs, so need XL stocking with some lenght. Although the lenght is good, the holdup rubbers are unfortunaly a bit too wide and won't stay put. The lace border could be more present or heigher, and the material hooks relative easy. All in all not bad, but not for me.
