My favourite coffee beans
Spiller and Tait produce the best flavoured beans that I have tried so far. I use these every morning in my bean-to-cup machine, and look forward to the rich aroma that emanates from the grinder! Great flavour.

A nice coffee
I'll add this coffee to the rotation.

Diasappointed with freshness/ roasting date
We like this coffee and are currently ordering it every 3 weeks. We seem to be going back the way in time! with roasting dates unfortunately. The last bag was roasted in August but the one before that was roasted in September and now this one was roasted in July 21. Poor stock rotation or what which is disappointing!

Poor taste
I was not impressed, this is a generic brew roasted for espresso and mixes cheap robusta beans with arabica. There's better quality for similar prices on Amazon.

Roast date longer than quoted.
This coffee is beautiful. Have tried many many beans and this is definitely my favourite. Unfortunately out of 5 orders 3 have been significantly past the quoted 6 week roast date. The latest order was Nov 21 and we are now nearly in Feb 22 and this definitely changes the quality and taste.

Could be improved
These beans are ok but they are not as good as the last bag of beans I bought from Spiller & Tait, which were impressive. When these beans arrived in October, i discovered that these beans were roasted in July which is disappointing and not fresh. The flavour is quite disappointing too as it tastes a little better than most supermarket brands. The taste is ok but there are nicer beans out there.I would recommend trying the Spiller & Tait Peruvian beans instead of this one.

Smooth subtle taste
Nothing to dislike, good mirroring or after meal

Great Character
The complex character of this blend makes for good reliable espresso, sensibly priced.
