Before I had back surgery 2017 (rods w/cage, fusion) my doctor wanted me to wear a back brace that went from under my shoulder blades down. It was $1700, insurance paid $500. I looked on line, same model $232 😑. 2025....I go see the Sports Medicine doctor for my knee. He asks, "Are you wearing your back brace?" "No." Second visit for knee, same question. So I took the hint. I like this one because of the support over the lumbar spine, and teach side of the spine. And the price is fantastic! I wear it for anything that requires me to bend over. Vert lightweight and comfortable.

I take size medium size 14 ladies and purchased a large . It barely fits , I should have gotten XL.So it runs small..but I could feel improvement in my lower back pain immediately after putting it on..

I got it for my husband and it was not what he wanted. Ot would be better for someone looking for a much sturdier brace. Not what he was looking for.

Only wearing this at work and finding the velcro wears out fairly quickly. The back side of the brace is longer down so I've found it can fight with my clothing, pushing pants down or the brace riding up with bending. Not the worst brace but also now looking for something that works better.

This brace has been a lifesaver for me. I have some serious back issues. I had scoliosis- a double curve that necessitated the fusion of nearly my entire spine. That hardware was determined to cause terrible issues, and now I have severe, chronic pain that affects my ability to walk. It presents in a similar way as non-stop severe sciatica and/or herniated discs. I have had to use a walker or wheelchair for the past 5 years. This brace has helped to alleviate the constant shooting pain that runs over my left hip to my outside left ankle as well as the lower back pain. Thee construction of the brace features a main, large Velcro closure and smaller straps to adjust the angle and force of the support on either side. It's extremely helpful to dial in the correct type of support. It's indicated that it's for men, but I have not had issues regarding fit as a woman- my waist is 8 inches smaller than my ribs and hips. Even when I have the brace on quite tightly, if I take a deep breath the brace expands in multiple directions. It's very comfortable, though I definitely recommend wearing a close fitting undershirt or tank top under the brace. The edges don't cut in and it's fairly comfortable to move around in.

I found the Medium too small, and large size perfect and when weather changes the size velcro can adjust.

I’ve used this belt extensively for several weeks repainting and re-installing storage in the underground garage and it has been very good so far. It’s very light, easy to install around the waist and gives me the support I need

Having done my back in several months ago I needed some kind of support when I went back to work. After looking at hundreds of designs and styles I finally settled on this one, and it’s great! The support it gives is perfect for lower-back/lumbar injuries (as mine was), it’s comfortable enough to wear for hours on end though it does make you sweat in hot weather (but what doesn’t!). It’s easy to put on with the cummerbund having a decent amount of velcro, so if you’ve got a belly you’ll be fine, and it won’t slip thanks to the non-slip strips on the inside. The elastic straps to adjust the tightness are easy to adjust to what’s comfortable for you. The supports at the back are comfortable enough when you’ve figured out WHERE you want it to sit which can take some time at first-it’s going to feel strange for a while! It fits under clothes well and doesn’t show unless your tshirt is fairly tight, though you may need to adjust how tight your belt is. Sitting down it may push up a bit, but that’s bearable. Working in an airport the fact that all the parts are plastic is a definite bonus, so for travelling I can definitely recommend it. Overall i’m very impressed with both the design, comfort and value for money. One word of warning-if your wife is anything like mine be prepared for her to start calling it your “corset” 🤣

I am in my 60s and been gardening all my life professionally and have the bad back to prove it. This item arrived today so I have not worn it for long but the pain relief came quickly and I have only given it a 4 * rating for now until I have worn it more and I feel more confident about it. My thoughts though are that it is extremely well made and very strong. It supports a large area of the back as opposed to my other belts which are not as wide and cheaper. One big difference between this one and my other belts other than the width is that my others have the single main strap that fastens at the front but also just have a single strap at both the right and left sides. The extra straps on this one pulls it in from 4 points on each side and it makes a huge difference in the support it gives and makes it very comfortable to wear. I will come back in about a week and edit the 4* star rating either up or down when I have worn it more. EDIT. I have used this for a week now and it has been incredible. I felt a benefit from the moment I first wore it and have been pain free with it on since. It is extremely comfortable as well despite wearing it for over 8 hours a day. Thank you Fitomo.
