Perfect fit! Specialty tools make replacement easy.
This OEM part was the perfect fit for my 2002 Yukon Denali (non-XL). This cable is no longer universal fit which is why there is no longer an adjustable fitting. Instead, they are now sold at specific lengths to match the vehicle wheelbase.By the way, this was a very quick installation with the proper tools. I used a Schley Products SLY-10500 tool to disconnect the good cable (from the parking brake pedal) from the old intermediate cable, which in my case broke at the rear. I used a Lisle 44220 tool to reconnect the cables. I attempted the installation without these and was unsuccessful and very frustrated. Using these specialty tools made the difference for me. Less than 5 minutes! These were available on Amazon as well.

Just fine! Perfect fit, looks well made.
This cable looks very well made and it went right into my 2000 Yukon. Some reviewers have commented on the lack of an adjustment link - this cable is a perfect fit if you pull hard against a spring in the pedal mechanism. This is how it is supposed to work, it's supposed to be taut, right? The original cable did have an adjuster but my mechanic says that's how they made them for the factory environment where it might be used in different vehicles.

Worked great 2000 Yukon
Just installed this on my 2000 Yukon and it was a prefect fit. Works well and just going to hope it lasts. If it doesn't I'll be updating the review!

A perfect fit.
I have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71. and of course as we all know Chevy's are prone to rust. I just resently snaped my e-brake cable, rusted out completely - thanks GM. I am glad I found this replacement. It was a perfect fit and I have my e-brake back.

DO NOT BUY... NO ADJUSTMENT SCREW
Took several hours to install. Had to c9mpletely remove rear brake cables, and readjust everything again simply because no nut to adjust and install tgis. What a nightmare, considered throwing away the cable and getting another. Do not buy this.

As pictured, but can't install
I said it's ok because it is as pictured, however I can not install without the adjustment 'bolt' on back end, as is on the original. Is there another one available with the adjustment (of ~1.5") that would allow me to install the intermediate cable? I thought I could install it as-is. The picture was accurate for the one I received, so if I can order / pay for the right OEM one I'll keep the wrong one (mere $14) and update rating. ThanksUpdate per below

Not as shown
We had to use the our old rusted equalizer because this did not come with a new one as seen in the picture. The adjusting nut was not included either.
