Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is a great game that has a great story and looks amazing
Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is a great game that you will love. I have played most of the Assassin Creed games but this one may be the best. The game takes the concepts within Assassin's Creed world and puts them into a pirate adventure game. The game does an amazing job of interjecting some history as well into the game. The game features historical characters like Blackbeard and Benjamin Hornigold. Beside the history, the game looks great. The pirates within the game are not cartoon versions like the ones we see on tv. The game goes to painstaking efforts to make the story grounded within reality. The game look amazing and has tons to do within the game. Their is alot of content within the game, including exploring island and having your own pirate crews. The even acts differently based on the decisions you make, this includes singing different songs based on the bounty you collect. This is a great game that you should pick up.Thank you for reading my review, if you have any questions feel free to email me, I would be happy to help you with any questions you have.

Excellent
Having played majority of the Assassin's Creed games I knew that this would be one of the games I would have to pick up at some point. I was weary though, especially coming out of Assassin's Creed 3 (which I found to be incredibly dull). But my concerns were cast aside once I started playing. This game gave me the same feeling I had when I first played Assassin's Creed 2, just utter amusement and fun. The game is just fun.AC4 doesn't take itself too seriously. It's as if the developers said "okay, how can we make a game that is just enjoyable?" and they found a way.Sailing is fun and there's always something catching your attention or something to admire. A lot of the time you'll find yourself getting off track of the main story mission to do various tasks, side missions or to just capture other ships and send your fleet on missions. Occasionally your crew will start singing sea shanties whilst you sail through the gorgeous sea. Which leads me to the fact that the game is BEAUTIFUL. Just stunning. The water effects are a real treat to look at especially. The characters are also likable in this title. Edward Kenway is no Ezio, but he is far more interesting and likable compared to his grandson in AC3. You get to run into pirate legends such as Blackbeard, Calico Jack, Anne Bonny, Mary Read, Charles Vane, Benjamin Hornigold and others which is all great fun to see.But one of the things I really noticed about this game is that it doesn't feel like Assassin's Creed. Sure, it plays like Assassin's Creed, but it feels like a true pirate game and a part of me wishes Ubisoft would have just made this a stand-alone, open world pirate title without integrating the Animus and or any of that staple Assassin's Creed stuff. The game outside of the Animus isn't what most of us are used to. You don't play as Desmond, and rather you play in a first person perspective as a silent, nameless employee at Abstergo. I actually liked this approach better as it didn't require a lot of recalling events that happened to Desmond and company in a past game. I'd like to see Ubisoft stick with this as it makes things much more accessible to people new to the series. Sure there were things here and there, but you could probably go into this without knowing anything about the story going on outside the Animus and you'd be okay. You'd probably understand a few things a little more, but with a little summary reading from past games online, you could probably connect the dots yourself.Gameplay wise it plays the same as almost every AC game before it. A little more refined in some areas, but if you've played before you know what to expect. If you're using the gamepad it has a map displayed on the screen, but other than that it doesn't do anything too exciting. I usually use the Wii U Pro controller for this game and it works well.If you like the Pirates of the Caribbean films you'll like this game (seriously). The Wii U currently doesn't have a wide selection of action/adventure titles, but this one fits the bill nicely. Overall, worth checking out.

BEST GAME EVER !
Gave this a five star rating because this game is absolutely beautiful !Being able to sail the open seas, go whale harpooning, explore the seabed for lost treasure, attack and sink other vessels, and of course assassinate people is awesome !!!If you like Assassin's Creed you'll love this game! Especially since you play a pirate. The content is very extensive, lots to do.Well worth your money !

Excellent edition to the series.
Went in being amazed at not only how great the graphics are but the extensive gameplay that will make time fly but not feel wasted. Endless amount of things to do along with the large over world map make this art piece shine. It is super fun hunting tons of treasure to be found in this adventure or in the proximity of prey, running a vessel with your crew on board, sinking enemies, traveling 2000 miles to catch a over sized seafood dinner. You will be pleasantly suprised by the presentation as it really shows off the capabilities of your system.
