Worked very well for my application
I needed a dimmer for a light with 5x4w dimmable bulbs and was concerned that this was a difficult load. However this dimmer handles it very well. Wiring it up was straightforward, no more difficult than wiring a new ceiling light or a 13A mains plug. I particularly like the adjuster to calibrate the low end of the dimming range. No noise, no flickering, worth every penny.

Works well on halogen bulbs
Well designed and easy to wire up. Only issue is that on low wattage (5w) led bulbs it won't dim down to a low level changed to halogen and it worked. Rated across 0-100watts perhaps a low wattage version for LEDs might work better

Brilliant Dimmer
A super great in-line dimmer with on-off switch at anticlockwise position (a decent click: nice).Some dexterity is required to neatly assemble this dimmer and prepare the cable wires so you get good safe connections into the dimmer’s well made terminals. Just take care to put the cover on with the little hole/slot on the side with the low-dim preset adjuster and carful not to cross thread the nut on the shaft. Note. The knob needs a good firm pull to get it off the shaft when you start the task. It’s nice and secure when reassembled.The minimum dim setting adjuster works very well. There was no flickering either when adjusting to the lowest light level, which effectively was like off. So that’s really good. My light bulb was a Philips 7.2W LED dimmer-able.If i ever need another in-line dimmer for any reason I’ll be getting one of these. Comes in black and white. What more do we want. lolI’ve been using the dimmer for a week now at all dimming levels. Working perfectly and never ever any buzzing!

Funktioniert einwandfrei
Der Dimmer funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Rad lässt sich sehr angenehm drehen - nicht zu leicht oder zu schwer.Einen Stern Abzug gibt es von mir, weil man den Schutzleiter/Erdung nicht mit durchschleifen kann. Ich habe den Eingang und Ausgang selber mit einem Seitenschneider/Cutter-Messer vergrößert und mit durchgelegt, aber sowas muss eigentlich von "Haus aus" möglich sein.

LED Dimmer aber nicht für LED-Lichterketten
Nach einer leicht handwerklichen Montage der beiden Anschlusskabel, wollte ich mein LED-Christbaumlichterkette dimmen. Wollte, ließ sich aber nicht obwohl der Dimmer für LED Lampen war. Möglich mein Fehler? werde es noch prüfen.
