Replacement for my Evolution Model 65 baffle - works very well
I wasn't sure it was going to fit as it didn't look EXACTLY the same, my manual says my baffle was an 'Evolotion models, Model 65', but it fits my Insinkerator perfectly (I bought the Insinkerator in UK in 2009). Arrived on time, easy to fit, Its slightly softer material which is an improvement in both noise reduction and ease of pushing things through.

Easy replacement
I purchased this to replace the original InSinkErator 46 baffle which was beginning to perish. This was not as simple as many of the reviews have you believe in that for this model (and maybe others) the old baffle does not just pull out, at least mine did not. Not wishing to drop the unit from the sink and all that involves I found that a sharp knife to cut around the existing baffle close to the fitting then just push the new baffle into place works a treat. It looks good, works as well as the original and can be popped out to clean and to access and remove anything that may have challenged the InSinkErator's abilities.

Takes a while to be any use
This is ok but so stiff at first hardly any water passes through. 3 months on its improved

Perfect replacement.
A perfect replacement for the original. My waste disposal unit had become noisy and getting blocked for no reason. Replacing it with a new rubber seal has made a complete difference so quite now and stopped blocking due to the water flowing better.

Plugged the gap
What can one like or dislike about a simple drain plug ? If it fits and stops things draining away, or stops big things going down and causing problems then it is great. If I had the talent to write an “ode to a plug” I would, all I can say is thank you to all the scientific minds who created it.
