TASSIMO Suchard Hot Chocolate 16 T DISCs

The best hot chocolate for tassimo.

Firstly, I have tried, the Tassimo Cadbury's, Milka and Hot Chocolate's which are powder based, the Cadbury's one is the worst of the lot, followed by the Milka.Now, to the Suchard, well, it's a thick gooey liquid based product and it's really really nice. I'd read other people's reviews and took a chance to order 5 packs of 16 and I do not regret it. One minor complaint you only get half a cup but I'd just do two Tassimo tabs.Now to the "but", I have also read and please please follow this because it was advised for a reason, get some hot water out of the tap, get it as hot as you can and before opening, put the Tassimo tab/s in the hot water and let them sit for about 5 mins, as the chocolate in the tab, can remain a little too thick and firm, otherwise you won't get all the liquid chocolate from the tabs when you put it in the Tassimo machine.Trust me, every little drop from it is important as this isn't super sweet but I think it is just right and it really is a very nice Hot Chocolate drink, in fact, nearly close to a fast food burger chain Hot Chocolate, so if you like that, then you won't be disappointed with this.Delivery was quick and the expiry dates are decent, right into May 2021!

This is the nicest drinking chocolate I've ever tasted, not too sweet which makes a nice change, quick delivery on Prime.Cons... you have to put pods into boiling water to soften up the paste in the pod, if you don't then you won't get all the chocolate out.This is the most I've paid for hot chocolate on Amazon as was in a rush ordering to make sure I got them in time so will be doing a price compare on Amazin before I next purchase.These are the reasons I only gave a 4*

My elderly mother prefers this chocolate above all the others.when you are 100 you know what you like

I personally did not think much to these, I think the Cadbury ones are alot better and taste better, the suchard I thought were a bit watery tasting

Bought by mistake, I usually buy the Cadbury's but I thought I would try these a try rather than send them back (since I could give them to my oldest daughter if I did not like them), I'm not really a great fan of dark chocolate because it is too strong but I found when I added the creamer milk that you can buy for the Tassimo machines it has a lovely taste, the only down side is that I use a mug for hot chocolate so I wish they could make them in xl size as there it does not make up a cup so I have to use 2 at a time but that is down to Tassimo not the seller

The Suchard Hot Chocolate comes in packets of 16 chocolatey syrup filled pods and there is no milk pod like there is for Cadburys or Milka (where you only get 8 drinks). Be warned, you do not get very much hot chocolate and it will fill about a teacup. The portion size is stated as 215ml which is 57 calories - great for a low guilt chocolate hit if you are on a diet and it does contain some sweetener. The drink you get is a darker richer hot chocolate, and less milky compared to Cadburys or Milka, but a splash of milk can be added if you like your drink creamier. It should be noted that the syrup in the pod does not always empty out completely, which will leave you with a watery, tasteless drink, but a handy tip is to pr-ewarm the pod first - I pop the unopened pod into a cup and dispense some hot water out using the cleaning disc first, and this way I get better results.There are quite a range of hot beverages available for the Tassimo drinks machine, including a number of hot chocolates. Unfortunately, only the Cadburys Hot Chocolate is widely available from larger supermarkets. If you want to try some of the other versions, such as Suchard or Milka, they can be purchased from the Tassimo website (where many of the flavours I want to buy are often out of stock) or via Amazon, though it is only really economical to purchase this in bulk.
