Big Mistake
I've had a couple of bakers torches, and this is definitely the worst of the lot. Refilling is a mess and no matter what, the butane goes everywhere but inside the torch. Never managed to fill it more than maybe an 1/8 full at a time and wasted a lot of butane. I gave it the one star because I was thankful for the little window to see how full (or not) the torch is. I would not purchase this product again, terribly disappointed.

Add this to a cook’s arsenal!
Finally! I broke down and got a culinary torch for my cooking tools! Wonderful culinary torch, especially for creme brûlée! It’s refillable with butane at the bottom and comes with a stand for the base to keep it upright which can be removed. The body (tank) area is nice wide but fits nicely in the palm of your hand. The torch is sturdy, has a trigger igniter along with a safety lock and a turn knob to adjust the flame. Wonderful gadget to have!

ahhhh, another kitchen gadget added to my collection. I love the sizing and the ease of use of this torch, and of course the safety lock and stand. I am a serious foodie and love cooking, so of course I want to sear some tuna, as well as brown sugar on a brulee. This weekend I am looking up more recipes so I have an excuse to use the torch. It was nice that 2 e-books were also included with this torch as well.
