The Vow: Music From The Motion Picture

I brought this CD for one single song and had hoped there would be others I would have liked because of the movie and it was a decent sound track. I do believe one other song I wanted to hear from the movie was not very good on the CD.

Music went well with the film and in a weak moment I succumbed, since I enjoyed the film and often buy soundtracks to relive the moments I enjoyed. I shouldn't have bothered with this one...was the worst ! Didn't identify with any of the songs just found them grating and irritating.

Music is ok, but not what I expected. Thought there would be more romantic sonds on the album but there are only a couple.

The Vow: Music From The Motion Picture I LOVE this movie "The Vow" , starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum and I think the soundtrack was an important part of it. It's not just a chick-flick, it's the perfect date movie that is weet and pulls on the heartstrings without being over the top. And with Valentine's Day coming up, it's perfect timing to unleash such a thoughtful romance. The soundtrack is mesmerizing, with some of the most BEAUTIFUL songs of the year. They rarely present a safe well-known artist playing a classic love song- these are mostly NEW LOVE SONGS for a now generation. Check out the awesome range of tracks from up-and-coming independent artists The National, Lykkie Li & Phosphorescent. A band that most will be familiar with is The Cure, appearing here with their show-stopping epic closer "Pictures of You," surely one of the greatest all-time alternative rock ballads ever created but again not that well known in the US until now. I'm sure a whole new group of young people will emerge from this film & soundtrack with they're very official first "song" together. Some speculated that the big song from "The Vow" was going to be "Enchanted" by Taylor Swift but that song was to just tie-in with in the trailer-only of "The Vow", not in the movie or on the soundtrack-- very common these days.So, what's your favorite love song from the Vow movie/soundtrack? These are OUR new songs presented for enjoyment by OUR generation. Not everyone will understand that but to those of you who do, enjoy. My personal favorite is the gorgeous Scott Hardkiss song "Come On, Come On," which sets the tone right from the opening of the film with a dreamy, ambient love vibe. "Come On, Come On" replays later in the film in a cute skinny-dipping scene, only here it features the incredible sexy vocals of Britta Phillips and the dreamy electric guitars of Dean Wareham. The Cure "Pictures Of You" was the best on the Soundtrack hands down. I always did love The Cure anyways.

The main reason I loved the film was because of the sound track, it was brilliant with Very different tracks

So ein schöner Soundtrack! Da man ja nicht immer und überall den Film gucken kann, hier wird man immer wieder in einzelne Szenen hineinversetzt...schön!!!
