Good idea executed by a terrible company
Summary (for the TL:DR crowd):-A lack of good support, documentation, or software keeps this from being a useful.-Mine died after about a month of use.-A portable AQI device is a good idea and if implemented properly could give people accurate AQI forecasts.Details:-It appears this company and product were a college student's senior project that was picked up by some venture capitalists until they could hype it up enough to get bought out by a bigger company.-This device looks like it was created as a gimmick to sell the air purifier.-I wore this while exercising (running and walking) outdoors in weather from 80-100 degrees Fahrenheit. ---Died during a run in 102F weather.-When running with the device it would register an AQI over 200 points higher than actual levels. The good about this product:-It's portable, clips onto a shirt, waistband, or belt.-AQI data can be exported to the cloud.-Somewhat accurate, as long as you're standing still outdoors. The bad about this product.-The charger indicator light never changed from red, I charged the device for 12 hours and never knew if it was fully charged.-The website is an incomplete mess that just tries to sell the air purifier.-The Android app has an inaccurate battery level reading.-The Android app allows saving the tracker data to a cloud, but does not allow you to change the filename. If you upload the data daily you're left with multiple files with the same name.-Calibration with the tracker is hit or miss and takes about 2 minutes 30 seconds each time.-The instructions that come with it give you a picture of how to turn it on, and how to plug it into a laptop to charge it, that's it.-hellowynd.com/instructions is a dead page (404 error).-hellowynd.com/warranty is a dead page (404 error).-Contacted [email protected] about the battery charging issue and got a canned response about the air purifier and never got a response back when I replied to it.Someday I'm hoping for a good portable AQI meter, either standalone or as part of some outdoor fitness device, but this is not the one.If you've got some tech savvy you'd be better off with a DIY device using a Rasperry PI kit or something. Otherwise, options are limited.

Has not worked Accurately so far
Seemed to work for a day...reads radically different than what the map of air quality reads. Have only had one volley with tech support. Yes I reset it....just so far my experience.

Wynd Wearable is compact and accurate
This wearable air quality instrument is truly small and accurate. It corresponds closely to the national readings in my area. I wear it while walking 5 miles daily, and it is so small and lite that it can be attached anywhere.

Great design, but air quality measurement seems off
I wanted a portable tracker to measure the air quality in my car during this year’s terrible California fires. I hoped Wynd would do that, but unfortunately the actual measurement seems way off.I tried to measure inside air and outside air in SF tonight. For context: On Wednesday our air started to improve and was reported to be 120 AQI. I have been running a dyson air purifier for a while in our house. We have new windows, don’t cook very much, and have a bunch of indoor plants. The dyson was measuring good aqi inside, and the wynd reported 170-180, which seemed way off. When I moved it outside, it shot up to 200+. Like I said, air quality here outside had dropped to 115-120 tonight. The wynd measurement seems oddly high, and doesn’t square with the other sources I have.Like others have said, this seems to need some calibration.

Help! How do you set it up?
They did not include any instructions on how to set this up. How arrogant! A little help would be appreciated. I am sure it is a good product but I do not want to do business with a company that treat their customers like that.

App Does Not Allow Sign Up
The app does not allow you to press the sign up button. I’ve tried to close the app, delete and reboot it, etc. with no luck. I even tried the only other alternative route to sign up using Facebook which also crashes and fails. Device is useless if you cannot access the data.

reliable and easy to understand
I have a lung condition and air quality is very important to me. I have neighbors who burn wood and I need a reliable way to measure my air before I go outside. This is a great little device to do that. The app is user friendly too.

I really wanted to like this!
I really wanted to like this. The concept is so cool. I live near a highway and have become concerned about the air quality in my apartment. Recently bought a large room air purifier - however, it didn’t come with a sensor. So I purchased this in order to confirm it was working. And it was. There was a noticeable change in air quality when I turned the purifier on. Then I took the sensor with me to work. Carried it with me when I went shopping etc...3 days into having it I was charging it in the kitchen. I made a grilled cheese sandwich. The sensor switched to hazardous. And appeared to get stuck. I carried it to my air purifier and left it there. It took a long time for it to shift back. Now it appears to be stuck on the Blue light (excellent air). No longer changes no matter where I take it. The device does not appear to be working. I am returning it. I may re-purchase and give it one more try. If I do - I will update my review. Giving it 2 stars for now...hoping I just got a faulty device and I can bump up my review!

Life saver!
I currently reside in Asia where air quality has its limitations. I care about what I am breathing and without this device, I really had no idea. this compact monitor is amazing! It sends all the info I need to my phone so I know exactly what is in my air at all times. it is literally a life saver as I have changed my behavior in response to this device. thank you!

Not worth the money
This product seems really cool and its portable. But its not really very helpful for the price.Maybe some future version that offers more insight on the readings would be worth it.
