1st picture in the new one the 2nd of is the old one and the 3rd pic is the new one installed. Amazin said it wouldn't fit but it fit perfectly and although there are 2 extra pins in the unit it didn't cause any issues. Everything worked just like it was supposed to. The top is exactly the same. If you have a vw cc 09-17 and your window switch is needed up. Get this and install it and it will be working like new on no time. In net satisfied with this purchase. I don't know how long it will last. I will update that in the future but for me now it's doing great.

This window switched fit perfect on 2012 vw jetta gli. Even though the "amazon confirmed fit" read that it wouldn't fit my car. Another Reviewer wrote the samething about the "confirmed fit" not being true, thats what made get this product, thank you to that reviewer! As long as your oem window switch matches with the amazon window switch, you should be good(mine was 5K4959857) My original window switch wasn't working properly anymore the one touch up feature was not working on all four buttons. I had to hold the switch on the up position for it to roll up, I guess do to wear and tear thru the years. The new one works like a charm! installation wasn't to bad. The only difference is with the amazon switch is that the small trim on switches is Chrome, my oem switch was Brushed Aluminum. A minor change, but if that doesn't bother you the switch works like brand new again. You could probably take out the oem brushed aluminium switches/buttons and putting it on the new amazon switches/buttons. Hopefully this new amazon switch lasts for a pretty long time.

I ordered it on Saturday and got it on Monday. What's not to love? The red light even matches the light for my mirror controls on the same armrest! The feel is a little bit different from the original switch in my '06 Passat, but the original was most likely a little worn with age. Took almost no time to install, either.

This fit my 2013 Passat TDI SE even though it wasn’t included in the description. It maintained all the OEM functions and fit perfectly. I’ve only had it in for a week so I’m not 100% certain on durability, but you can’t beat the price compared to buying straight from VW.

Despite "Amazon Confirmed Fit" saying that it does NOT fit my 2013 VW Golf R (Mk6), ordered anyway because part number DID match (1K4959857) my research. Installed relatively easily (plenty or write-ups and YouTube videos showing door panel removal) and actually DOES fit and work perfectly: Windows Up/Down, Auto Up/Down, rear window lockout switch. Switch lighting identically matches OEM too. Switch feel is slightly different than OEM -- OEMs had a more noticeable "click", but actually prefer smoother, subtler feel of these switches (does not feel like something is binding as with OEMs). Will see how durable these are, but at better than 1/10th cost of OEM VW/Audi branded part, I can afford to replace these a dozen times before spending as much at the dealer!

Great option instead of shelling out about $180 for an OEM window switch . It looks just slightly off from an OEM one, but you have to be really picky to see the difference.Buttons look and worked great. Just need to see how long it lasts. Hopefully I can remember to come back and update about it’s longevity.The only issue I ran into was that the long window lock switch was a bit longer than the OEM one, so the button would get stuck when pushed in. I shaved a bit off the plastic from the inside of the switch holder all along the opening and that fixed it (see images).All in all, I’m happy with the buy.Update 05/09/22: Switches are still working perfectly. No discoloration or any issues. Awesome product.

The shipping was GREAT - ordered one day, the part arrived the next day's lunch time!!The part was excellent, but removing the old part was a nightmare. I was VERY carefull,but still broke the bezel that holds the actual switch a little. If this happens to you just keep all the small pieces and glue them together before installing the new switch! It looks great and works fine. A lot less expensive than the $300 the dealer wanted to get from me!
