Amazing series, and my favorite book of the series.
Amazing series, and my favorite book of the series. Worth having for any reference collection, especially with the growing insight in the field. Goes through an esoteric subject succinctly and concisely.

Readable and concise
I would recommend this book for starting graduate students and final year undergrads that want to improve their understanding of magnetism. This is an excellent book to for an experimentalist to flick through and pick out topics that you have seen in papers and not understood. For me, it is consistently clear and relevant, with enough maths to be precise, but not so much to slow the pace of reading.Being relatively short, I would not recommend this as a reference source, but it should be more than enough for most undergraduate courses. Most importantly, I found this book very useful.

Good Overview of Magnetism
I bought this book for the third year magnetism module of my physics degree. It gives a very detailed description of many magnetic phenomena and lists all the relevant equations, graphs, diagrams, etc. I find Blundell's writing to be unclear sometimes, his descriptions are possibly not the most straightforward. As long as you read supporting material alongside, this book is all that you need to learn all about magnetism and I would recommend it for people in university, it's possibly a bit advanced for college level physics.

Dont 'buy' this book
The awful printing of this book, at least the current version of book shocked me. It is not like the book printed from the original digital version but like scan an old book and save it, then reprint them without any modification and optimise. It is NOT worth to buy this book due to the bad quality of printing, rather than find an online scanned version and print it out.

Pretty good start
I have only gone through the first 30 pages or so but until now it seems to be a pretty up-to date. The way the author treats the subject is good, but these things can always be done better. Im happy with the book.
