I got this for my home study area. As far as delivery, it came on time (a good thing for a clock to do), and boxed well as to jot be damaged in shipping. It's super cute on my desk and really quiet. No ticking sound to distract me while I study. I Haven't tried the alarm, so I can't speak to that, but overall happy with it.

My daughter does not wake up to alarms, but this one is different. It is so loud that after a couple minutes, she is up

I love this little clock! I bought it to replace a Restoration Hardware clock that I had purchased about 15 years ago. I'm sure I paid three times as much for my old clock and it wasn't any better! In the daytime the numbers pick up the sunlight in a strange rainbow effect that you can see in the picture. Sometimes it's kind of fun, but I rarely look at it in the daytime anyway! It's super quiet and the alarm is a nice, traditional ringing. It's exactly what I wanted and I love the color.

I'm not sure if I missed this detail when I bought the clock, but you can only set it on the hour (in other words, can't do 7:15, can only do 7:00). My kiddo picked it out as his first 'grown-up' alarm clock (he's 7!) and really wanted it to work. We start our bedtime routine (pjs, stories, etc.) at 7:00, lights out by 8:00. Which means I can't set the alarm clock because if I set it for 7:00 (which is when we wake up -- there's no AM/PM setting), then it would ring throughout our whole bed time hour. So I literally can't set the clock for his wake up time when I put him to bed. It doesn't work for us, and I couldn't return it. I don't recommend this clock, unfortunately.

I BOUGHT IT FOR USE IN THE BEDROOM, WHAT A BEAUTY! NOT ONLY TOTALLY FUNCTIONAL BUT ATTRACTIVE AND RETRO, REMINDS ME OF THOSE DAYS WHEN THESE WERE STANDARD FARE. I THINK IT WOULD LOOK GOOD IN THE DEN, ALONGSIDE MY FAVORITE BIG BOY TOYS.
