Needs to be used properly. A little expensive.
I’ve used gaviscon double action for many years. It’s a good product. For less money you can buy a product called peptac which is just as good if not better. However, as with any alginate it must be used properly and taken after a meal, or before bed, it should be the last thing to pass your lips once you stop eating and drinking as it will create a barrier at the top of your stomach.

Gaviscon is a good product that works very well compared to cheaper thinner alternatives. Bought for someone that has major heartburn issues and it works well for them. Cheaper here than in chemists. I would recommend.
