So, I have to admit, I was kind of scared to get this monitor because of the mixed reviews on YouTube and other social media. I am SO GLAD I ignored the bad ones and got it anyway! It is HUGE, and because of its size, it is the only monitor I use. If you want to use it with a closed MacBook, be sure to select PC and not Mac during setup (when you get it, you'll understand what I mean). And don't forget to take off the sticker from over the camera... I thought the camera was just poor quality for over two weeks before I realized that it was a clear film over the camera lens.It is beautiful to look at and of great quality for the price. I never use the TV option because I got it for work, but it's good to know it is there. If I ever need to watch Netflix at my desk, the option is available.

As others pointed out in their reviews, the built-in speakers are garbage. And Samsung doesn’t even provide an 3.5mm aux, which is baffling. How about Bluetooth audio? I’ve found it unreliable, most noticeable when watching shows and the dialog is out of sync. If you’re expecting to use this as a TV and a computer monitor, factor in the cost of decent speakers.Otherwise, the smartOS is fine. Build quality seems decent, but the screen quality is ‘meh. Not great when viewing at an angle. Honestly, it’s passable for basic computer use and as a secondary TV. Wouldn’t rely on it for everyday streaming. It’s a compromise worth the package to meet a dual purpose need.

For the discounted price of $449, for a 32" inch 4k monitor, it is amazing. It's a VA panel at 60hz, so expect ghosting and poor viewing angles when you're not staring directly at it.TV and streaming apps is amazing and great, you can watch movies and YouTube when it's not in use from your computer. Samsung's free live TV is nice, with some good movie selection.Speakers are decent, nothing to write home about but it sounds good enough to enjoy.Overall, I would buy it again if I had to do it all over again. Like I said, for under $500 bucks, its really nice, anything more than that, I would look elsewhere.

Problematic with laptops using USB-C docks, often takes 1/2 hour or more to get the display to work with a device. Awful experience. Also, requires a special cable (DP mini to whatever your output is)Very problematic if more than one is in the same location, can only be powered on via a remote, and regardless of where it is pointed...all devices will be controlled. So if one needs to get turned on..it is a safe bet all the other ones will turn off. Have to point the remote down a paper towel roll to manage a single unit. Awful experience.The webcam does NOT work in Windows unless you snake a different USB-C cable to it, when connected as Samsung intended, it only works through the built in OS, which is also quite crap. Awful design. So...my opinion as an IT tech...if you are looking for something that doubles as a TV and a monitor, this is a fair choice. If intent is to use as a PC/laptop display....run in the opposite direction. Awful choice.
