My initial order for this shoulder heating pad never arrived, so when I was finally allowed to reorder it I did. I'm glad I did as it has been a life saver after my shoulder replacement surgery. The kicker is I had surgery on my left shoulder, but needed this for my right since it has a partial tear and has been over-worked due to the inability to use my left. The 3 heat settings are great, but I haven't been able to use the high setting as it gets too hot. It puts the heat right where it needs to be for the rotator cuff tear. The time shut off is a great feature as I've had to use it while sleeping due to the pain waking me several times during the night. The one star deduction is for the brightness of the led light being so bright in the dark, almost like an unwanted night light!

It gets hot fast but has a chemical odor. If you are a plus sized person please know this will be VERY tight on your arm. The Velcro barely meets to secure around my bicep. Will probably have to alter somehow.

This shoulder heating pad works very well and stays in place. I have bursitis/impingement in my right shoulder and, after trying to use a regular heating pad with very little success, I finally broke down and bought this. This thing just works. You can get it fairly tight on your shoulder and it gets really hot. Plus, it stays in place. You can even unplug it and walk around while the pad stays in place. Then just plug it back in and you’re good to go.There is a pouch on the inside for an ice pack which is nice. I haven’t tried that yet but I’m sure it will work well as long as you have an ice pack that will fit.All in all a good, very effective product. Highly recommend it if you suffer with shoulder pain like me.

I am 73 and have degenerative bone disease in my neck and right shoulder. The pain travels from my shoulder down the upper are almost to the elbow. Item is very well and thoughtfully designed. Power cord is 6 ft. long which makes it easy to use. Color coded temperature control is also a plus and very easy to make sure heat setting is the one desired. Fits shoulder well and is very comfortable. Heating element sits directly on the area of my shoulder and upper arm that has the most pain. However, I am a very small person and the area heated seems very centralized so a larger person might not have the heat where it is needed most. Expanding the heated area would definitely be a plus since the heated area is somewhat smaller than the area pictured in the advertisement. Overall, I am very pleased with the product. It did exactly what it was intended to do and greatly relieved my pain.
