Glitter Crystals Paint Additive Our glitter crystals will add a subtle shimmer to your chosen project. Mix into your chosen paint or wood varnish for a subtle glittery shimmer. Using either, silk, mid-sheen or gloss paint will make the glitter more noticeable. Best results with paint come from using a roller. Using the below guidelines will add a subtle shimmer, but you can add more or less glitter crystals to get your ideal finish. Our glitter is simple to use, add glitter into paint with the maximum ratio of 100g glitter to 1.5 litre paint. mix well for a few minutes. For even more sparkle on your walls add glitter crystals to clear glaze or modpodge for a better coverage over your painted wall. maximum ratio of 100g glitter to 1 litre. you can buff walls to get a extra 5% crystals to show. We recommend you do a trial test first by adding the Glitter crystals, into a small amount of paint, before carrying out your full project.

Not suitable as a paint additive. I used this as described however it just left a lumpy paint surface as the glitter grains are too large. B&q sell a paint additive however it's £12 and therefore expensive, but I used that before in my hallway and it works as the grains are like dust.This item can be used as a craft item. I ended up painting a second coat and sprinkling a layer of glitter on top, for this small project.
