Can I get this in Black instead of brown?

We are very sorry for the trouble caused to you. At present, we only have brown appearance. You can contact our engineers for more information by email at service@lightdot.com.

Can you access power with a cord connection ?

This is a direct wired unit, however few people including myself have power at the peak of their home. I bought an extension cord, cut off the female end and wired it to the light and plugged it in. Since it is on a photo cell from dusk to dawn, there is no need for a switch.
