Interesting Read
I am a regular purchaser of books for incarcerated persons, it is a time that they would most likely sit down read and reflect ,mostly learning, opening up To delve into different subjects they wouldn't have ordinarily, this book I was told was being passed around and enjoyed immensely!

Good
I enjoyed this book, it was exciting but a lot of tragedy. The author tried his best to stay as neutral as possible, and see things from all sides. The cover is well done. I love Harlem and wish I’d spent more time there in the 90s (I’m from Detroit). It’s so different now.

A real page turner
Lou Black did a hell of a job painting a vivid picture. His detailed accounts took hold of me a didn't let go. I'm glad there was 1 grounded person left to tell the truth about those events. Great read.

Couldn’t stop reading....
Lou Black moves you through the Danger Zone with his penmanship and plants a vivid picture in you’re mental that is so intriguing you feel as if you were right there in the streets during his stories. Peace to all the families that lived through these times and lost loved ones without y’all this story would of never been written.

Well written vivid account of 90's early 2000's Harlem
Well written vivid page turner. As a supporter of the late Big L's musical legacy, you shed much light on the dark circumstances that led to his passing. Thank you for sharing your life with us the readers. I pray your continued healing after enduring so many losses.

The Truth About the demise of a legend
Big L was a legendary rapper whom was murdered last century in mysterious circumstances. Details about it were far and few. This book was written by somebody who was close to Big L and his crew. The author gives a credible and compelling account of Big L's homicidal crew, the falling apart of that crew and the horrible, tragic murder of Big L.The book pulls no punches and it does not always put Big L in a good light.....It is telling that the rapper's family have not sued the author over some of the serious accusations that were made in the book.I read this book in an evening, it was that compelling. I highly recommend it.

Amazing Book.
Amazing Book. Big L is a favorite of mine, and I always knew he had a crew called the NFL, as he shouted them out a lot, but I never knew much about them. This book details it all, and is a great read.Edit 2021: Love this book so much, not only did i buy a physical copy a few years back, but have now bought the kindle version too.

Great book
Great book..very interesting as I've always thought Big L was one of the greatest..and also like the film paid in full..which this book explains details about that Harlem era...after learning about America's tough policing with 100 to 1 ratio about cocaine to crack I appreciate the game even more
