Easy to use and excellent value
The fit and finish of the GHAD-68 as an entry-level airbrush wouldn't be mistaken for a high-end brush costing 3 or 4 times as much, but adding a little lube (thoughtfully provided) to the nozzle cap screw threads and the needle chuck guide results in a brush with a smooth action and easy enough to disassemble and clean. Performance wise, I was definitely impressed. Sprayed two cups worth of acrylic zenithal highlighting on some miniatures with the 0.5mm @20psi to test it out. The spray pattern is very predictable, with the trigger action making it very easy to get to the sweet spot for a given paint mix quickly and repeatably. Acrylic paint will always have some tip dry on the needle, but I had significantly less than I'm used to with other brushes, and it was easy to remove with a cotton bud and carry on. This is a great beginner's airbrush or workhorse for layering that's easy on the trigger finger, and excellent value for money compared to alternatives. I think this will be my new go-to brush for that sort of general purpose task, with the option of the 0.35mm needle for fine detail, though I'll probably stick to my more expensive brushes for that personally. The handle is comfortable enough for hobbyist use (and more so than a conventional pencil grip brush), but I can see why they use a slightly different one on the swallowtail with a pinky rest; if you were to be using the brush all day, I can see the various quality-of-life improvements being worth the higher cost. I didn't see an easy way to tell the nozzles apart, so watch out for that when swapping over (you can check how far the needle fits through the nozzle to see if they're correctly size paired, as the manual advises). Replacement needles and nozzles look to be cheap and easily available, something that can catch you out with other brands, so happy to see, and the parts diagram in the box lid is a nice addition. I just need to cut the foam in the box away slightly so I can store the brush with the quick disconnect tail attached!

Low cost, HIGH QUALITY!
I'm relatively new to airbrushing, so this isn't a technical review. I have tried one other, a traditional airbrush with the control trigger on top but could never properly contort my hand and finger to get comfortable using it, so I found myself hardly ever using it. I recently came across several good review videos on YouTube for this Gaahleri GHAD-68 airbrush and learned that Gaahleri is a new entry into airbrushing by a company looking to make a high quality gun at a very affordable price point and thought I would give it a try. I am so happy I did!! It feels so natural in the hand, is comfortable to use, gives fantastic results, is easy to quick flush between paint changes and is easily and quickly disassembled for a more through cleaning. It comes paired and installed with a size .30 needle and nozzle, great for all around spraying as well as an extra size .50 needle and paired nozzle that works great for the thicker airbrushing primers. The atomization is great and lays down the paint so smooth and evenly, I smile every time I use it. As I stated earlier, I'm new to airbrushing but I find this gun so easy to use that I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to get into airbrushing for the first time. I would also recommend watching one of the many YouTube videos on how to clean it before trying to disassemble it, even though Gaahleri provides a nice exploded view assembly diagram on the inside of the box top.

Excellent airbrush backed by exceptional customer support
I have been airbrushing for many years and have used airbrushes from several of the major manufacturers. The GHAD-68 has genuinely impressed me. It offers excellent control and atomization, and I find the trigger very comfortable for detailed work. For the price, its performance has been outstanding. I also purchased Gaahleri's Serenair mini compressor, and that has impressed me as well. I've used it for long painting sessions and it maintains consistent pressure without the pressure drops I've experienced with other small portable compressors. That consistency matters when doing fine airbrush work. What has impressed me just as much as the products, however, is Gaahleri's customer support. I experienced a couple of issues with my GHAD-68, including the threaded cup mounting fitting separating from the airbrush body. I contacted Gaahleri, explained the problem, and provided photographs showing exactly what had failed. Their support team was responsive and courteous, and they continued working with me until the problem was completely resolved. When the body ultimately needed replacement, they went beyond what I expected and sent me a complete replacement GHAD-68. Any manufactured product can occasionally have a problem. What matters to me is whether the company stands behind what it sells. Gaahleri did exactly that. My experience with both their products and their support has given me confidence in the company, and I already have additional Gaahleri products I plan to purchase. I liked the GHAD-68 before I ever needed their support. After seeing how they treated me when something went wrong, I can recommend both the airbrush and the company behind it. Five stars.
