7x Nemaxx Mini-FL2 Smoke detector - high quality & discreet Mini smoke detector with lithium battery - according to DIN EN 14604

These smoke detectors arrived quickly, and the day they were posted I had an email with English instructions attached (the packages come from Germany with German instructions inside). Setup was easy, and they work as described - I can recommend. BTW, making toast didn't set them off, but a piece of burning newspaper in a can did.

Installation easy no problems. Instructions clear and easy to follow. Work great all sound when tested. All radio interconnect works great one sounds all sound. Been installed a fee weeks now only one false alarm caused by son cooking. Within a few seconds all were sounding. Recommended.

Bought pack of 4. All supplied with needed batteries. Odd that it takes 9v and 3 AA batteries on each unit - seems the 9v is for the smoke detection and the AA's for the radio link. I guess this is a mash up of a standard smoke detector and some kind of radio beacon. Anyway, linking them together was easy as was installing the batteries. The units were VERY VERY VERY difficult to twist onto their mounting bases the first few times I had to do this 'off ceiling' to loosen them up a bit. Suggest holding the base plate in a towel to avoid it cutting into your hands as you struggle to twist fit the alarm body onto it these first few times. The range is good - covering top of 1st floor stairs, bottom of stairs and I installed one in the kitchen (my elderly uncle no longer cooks for himself so if there is smoke in there there is a problem!) and I even installed one some 20 metres away in a garage as he keeps his old dryer in there. Really good. Instructions were clear - many of the pages were in other languages but the english ones I understood no problem.

Good product. The instructions are in German, but the seller sent an email with English instructions before they arrived so this was great. Easy to setup and link together. (The cats didn't like the testing phase) One of them did arrive faulty but after a quick email to the seller they sent me a new one. With this and the instructions email, great customer service and good product.

Updated may 21018 I've sliced it down to 1 star from 2. It should be 0. They go off at random. I have no idea how to silence. The instructions are poor. I can't find instructions on the web. I have replaced with 4 fire angels. These fitted into the holes I already had. Connected to form their linkage within 5 seconds per device. All fitted in place within under 30 minutes.cost many times more, but from a reputable company that will guarantee them for 5 years and has plenty of material on the web. Don't waste your time with nemaxx. Original review I've had these detectors for around 2 years. The instructions for set up are in English, but barely functional. There is nothing on led signals, how to silence or hush an alarm. The interlinking explanation isn't great. Fitting to the ceiling is easy. Fitting batteries in less so. If you want alignment or a particular orientation of buttons, fit with care, as the holes are offset to buttons. They seem to work and flash away periodically as they should. I test them every so often. They sound. But this is a bit of a question on confidence. They go off at random, with no obvious trigger. They don't sound as an interlinked set as you'd expect, which they should. In theory I've got them spaced in vertical line across floors so they are in distance, with the master in the middle, so it should reach, but maybe 60m is without walls and floors etc..? Which isn't real life. They are probably fine, but if it's fire safety, the probably isn't good enough is it. Nemaxx - Sort out the instructions so it's a decent manual not 1 side of a4. Make it clear what a constant flashing red led means and how to reset if that is what is required. Explain how to hush a unit that is sounding. If the system needs a reset on replacing batteries, explain this. It could be that this is a 5 star system and 5 star price. But without clear operating instructions it can only be 2 to reflect a basic level of function with a measure of irritation thrown in.

Very easy to pair up and install. Came with batteries and instructions in English. When tested with real smoke - the detector in the lounge went off and the other two on the first and second floor in an attic dormer also went off straight away - the noise was so piercing it would make you want to get out of the house. Appear to be very effective at alerting the whole house to a problem. They can only be silenced by pressing the test button on the 'master' alarm - and then they all go quiet. They cannot be silenced from any of the other units which is a good safety feature.

In principle, a great product. Once you get used to the instructions (which are not easy to follow) you can get up and running fairly easily. Trouble is, after a few months we found most people in the house were removing the batteries to stop them constantly going off - often in the middle of the night! A great idea in principle, and if they didn't give false alarms, I'd happily recommend them. But not right now.

Very easy to install these smoke alarms, linking was simple. Not had any false alarms with these detectors. Overall very happy with my purchase.

prodotto arrivato velocemente, non mi è piaciuto il formato, molto piccolo 7 cm. di diametro, mi pare che le misure del prodotto ( riferito alla scatola che contiene i 7 rivelatori, ma non ben specificato può sembrare la dimensione dell'oggetto ) e sopratutto il fatto che doveva essere con batteria 9 Volt. come da presentazione, anzichè le 3 batterie a bottone di cui è fornito. Mi riservo non appena montati e provati di modificare il punteggio., e consiglio di leggere tutto, molto bene .

Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto di questo tipo di rilevatori di fumo poiché sono semplicissimi da installare, hanno un prezzo davvero concorrenziale e sono di ottima qualità. I rilevatori vengono spediti tramite corriere espresso ed arrivano nell'arco di 5-6 giorni lavorativi. Sono provvisti di 3 batterie alcaline da 1,5 V e 1 batteria alcalina da 9 V (che come riportato dal venditore dovrebbero durare circa 2-3 anni). All'interno della scatola sono inoltre presenti le viti per il montaggio (per fissarli bisogna fare due buchi al muro) e le istruzioni in inglese, francese e tedesco. NON sono presenti istruzioni in italiano ma l'installazione è davvero facile (di seguito ve la riporto). Inoltre i rilevatori possono essere sintonizzati tra di loro (max 50) cosicché nel momento che uno suona, subito dopo inizieranno a suonare tutti gli altri. Il segnale inviato da un rilevatore è facilmente ricevuto da un altro rilevatore anche da una distanza di 40m. E' oppurtuno testare il loro funzionamento (tramite il tasto TEST) circa 1-2 volte al mese. SINCRONIZZAZIONE DEI RILEVATORI DI FUMO: 1.Scegliere un rilevatore PRINCIPALE; 2.Premere il tasto "LEARN" del rilevatore PRINCIPALE due volte in modo che il led passi da rosso a verde; 3.Premere il tasto "LEARN" del rilevatore SECONDARIO una volta (quindi il led deve essere rosso); 4.Premere il tasto "TEST" del rilevatore SECONDARIO per alcuni secondi e verificare che il segnale venga inoltrato al rilevatore principale e agli altri eventuali rilevatori secondari (i rilevatori iniziano a suonare tutti contemporaneamente); 5.Fare la controprova del funzionamento del gruppo di rilevatori premendo per alcuni secondi il tasto "TEST" del rilevatore PRINCIPALE e verificare che il segnale venga inoltrato ai rilevatori di fumo secondari. Spero di essere stato d'aiuto.

Vinieron correctamente, el adhesivo es bastante potente y se pega bien al techo. El botón de test funciona correctamente por lo que espero que los detectores también.

Il rilevatore, facile da installare e facile da sincronizzare i 2 apparecchi. Io li ho installati su 2 piani, il suo funzionamento l'ho verificato per puro caso, quando nella pulizia del ferro da stiro facendo uscire di continuo vapore (con acqua e aceto ) aveva creato quella nebbiolina in casa che effettivamente sembrava fumo, il rilevatore ha cominciato a suonare, sia quello in questione che quello nel piano superiore in ripetizione. Una volta aperte le finestre che ha circolato un po' d'aria l'odore e il vapore è sparito e il rilevatore ha smesso di suonare. Per cui posso dire che funziona perfettamente.

Der WL2 Rauchmelder von Nemaxx gefällt mir bisher wirklich gut. Die Lieferung ging sehr schnell, da ich direkt im Internet bezahlt habe. Ich musste daher wirklich nicht lange auf meine Lieferung warten, wie man es von manch anderen Produkten kennt. Zur Qualität des Rauchmelders: Er scheint gut verarbeitet zu sein, auch die Verpackung ist sehr ansprechend. Sehr gut ist auch der Test Knopf. Nach Benutzung bin ich davon überzeugt, dass ich den Alarm höre – dieser ist nämlich SEHR laut, was aber nicht unbedingt etwas Schlechtes ist. Mein Fazit für dieses Produkt: Ein lauter Rauchmelder, welcher dank den mitgelieferten Utensilien leicht an der Decke anzubringen ist und meiner Meinung nach hält, was er auch verspricht. Und das zu einem guten Preis. Ich für meinen Teil würde den Rauchmelder wieder kaufen und kann ihn daher jedem empfehlen, der über den Kauf eines neuen Rauchmelders nachdenkt.
