This flashlight is a great companion to medical professionals. Will not fail you when you need it most. Sleek, doesn't ruin your outfit even when placed on a front chest pocket, or moreso a lab coat. It surely will keep a long lasting service to its owner unless somebody borrows it and never return this very nice flashlight! This is the nth time I bought this triple-A battery mini-maglite and its always worth it - for myself and as perfect gift to your good colleagues!

Not so bright

Just the right size to fit on my desk and be useful

This is a very inexpensive and high quality flash light. Even with regular use the batteries last a long time and the light output is exceptional. I used to own an older model that had an incandescent bulb and it lasted over 15 years, I wish it would have failed sooner so I could have purchased this one.

like most negative reviews stated are true.. quality of the aluminum is okay but its function as a flashlight sucks. maglite is not the same as it used to be!

The good: This mini maglite is great for emergencies because it's lightweight enough to actually carry in my bag all the time. For example, I used mine during the NYC blackout to navigate 18 stories of a pitch-black stairwell. Very happy I had it on me! I slide it in a pen compartment so it doesn't rattle around at the bottom of my backpack.The bad: The flashlight turns on VERY easily just by everyday jostling around. I've already had to replace mine because it burned out (it turned on in my bag and I didn't notice -- by the time I did, and replaced the batteries and the bulb, the flashlight no longer worked). I sometimes ride CitiBike to commute to work -- admittedly, not the smoothest suspension on city streets, but it's not like I'm mountain biking over rocky terrain. After a 25 minute bike ride, I need to remember to check my flashlight at the end of the ride. About 1 out of 10 times the flashlight has turned on.It's turned on a few other times as well. Maybe I put the bag down too forcefully? Or was jostled on the subway?Moral of the story: if you keep the flashlight in a handbag or backpack, don't forget to check it occasionally to see if it turned on in your bag.

I love Maglite and have nothing to say more as product rocks. My dad loved it as he looks after things around our house and it comes handy when he needs dependable light especially working in the late evenings/night.
