As a member of the military, I recently just used this on exercise in the field and it was great. The case it comes in is durable, sturdy and reliable. During our exercise we were actually hit with a blizzard and I took the opportunity to try out the blanket and it worked great. The knife is awesome; I’ve taken it out hiking and tested it on thick brush with good results. I also tested the compass and it worked reliably with no issues at all. All of the tools are well made and of high quality. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend (have already recommended to my military comrades) to anyone looking for a small portable and reliable kit.

Compass and materials are cheap but ok for the price. The knife was a disappointment. The blade jammed as soon as I pulled it out.Update: Seller sent me a second knife and instructions on how to open and close. No problems since. They stand behind their product and I was impressed with their customer service. Will award full stars.

I bought this in case of emergencies. We live in FL and it’s hurricane season right now. We also go camping and tend to be outdoorsy people.I love how compact this case is. I was very impressed with how much could fit inside this kit. You definitely get your money’s worth with everything that is included. Everything feels pretty sturdy and is well made. I really wanted the tactical pen for in the car in case we ever need to break the windows to escape. My husband was skeptical at first and then he checked it out and said “oh yes, this will definitely break a car window”. He also loved the fire starter and played with that a bunch to “test it out”, but he said it’s really good and he was impressed. The knife is great and not cheap like other brands. Flashlight works great - just need to install a battery. I read that someone else stores a battery in a plastic dime roll inside of the case which I think is brilliant, so we’re going to do that as well.

Wanted an emergency kit for my car & this was a great size. The case, knife, compass, flashlight & tactical pen were all good quality. However, the flint is bulky and the credit card tool seems like a gimmick. Removed the foam & replaced it with 1/8” inch thick solid rubber shelf liner to free up space. Replaced the credit card tool with a micra multi-tool, a p-51 can opener, military tweezers and a thin bottle/cork screw tool. Plan to replace the flint with a less bulky one. Added a dime roll plastic tube to store the flashlight battery. Added a little tin filled with fishooks & split shot. Also added duct tape; sunscreen & alcohol gel. It’s really full now, but am hoping to squeeze in a parachord bracelet. Despite the modifications, I was really pleased with this kit. The reality is no kit is perfect right off the shelf, but this kit has a great case and some quality tools to customize around.

I like this kit. The case is really solid. The knife is really good quality, feels solid and locks well. Also is smooth opening and closing, I can flip it open with one hand. I got this kit for my car to add to my bug out bag. It is a good addition. The whistle works well, nice and loud. I like the tactical pen. This pen is good for everyday carry, as well as the card. The light that it comes with is good. It's just like one I bought on amazon and I've used it for 4 years. Overall with the case and everything, this is a great kit.

Bought this to keep in my car for emergencies. Really well made, compact and fits in my glove compartment. I also packed a few batteries for the flashlight in the pack since that wasn't included. When my husband walked by it before I put it in the car he was impressed by the quality of every item and the "cool" glass breaker. Hopefully, I won't have to use it for an emergency but peace of mind is worth it, and it will probably come in handy for camping trips.
