Brilliant
I recently purchased the Geemarc CL7400 wireless headphones. I have Menieres disease and wear hearing aids in both ears, without them I am totally deaf which also gives me distortion in both ears with the aids. Since purchasing these headphones I have entered a new world of hearing. They were easy to fix up and they give me total control over what I can hear. They have buttons for balance, tone, volumne up and down for each ear which gives me complete control over what I can hear. I cannot stand high pitch noises, I find it painful so I can cut that down. I prefer bass which I can turn up in whatever ear I want. I have tried numerous pairs of different headphones which do not give me this control and were a waste of money. These headphones I can thoroughly recommend to anybody with profound hearing loss and distortion. Well worth the money, take my tip hear and enjoy. Also these headphones can be comfortably worn with the behind the ear hearing aids.

looks authentic however functions not compatible with genuine product
This is a third purchase of the same product (Geemarc CL7400 headphones set). I am in UK. I love the product that much. Both my father and I are hard of haring and find the sound quality excellent. The first two purchases were made with Hearing Direct (can not find single fault in the years of use). This time however I tried to save couple of £ and bought this product sold by Amazon Sarl. The first two sets I bough few years ago are compatible with each other. This meant that when one of the towers' life recently expired, I paired both the head phones with the remaining working tower. Now I have installed the latest purchase, however neither of the headphones can be paired save for those included in the box. The same applies vice versa. The new pair of headphones can not be synchronised with the old working tower. Upon checking why the two towers 'speak different languages' I noted that the most recent purchase has a an endorsement stating "Made in China". I suspected this as the 'Off/On/Mono' lever does not click into each specific position as the original does. Both older sets refer to US markings. In addition to this I purchased an audio converter so that the headphones would work with our new smart TV. This works excellent with the use of an optical lead connected to the TV. I also used the spare red & white cable on the converter to plug another set of cabled headphones to the TV. This also works great. On another positive note, the headphones with the converter work well with both sides of the headphones working (only one side worked when plugged directly to the set top box). It does take little time to set up and all parties need to be present to reach sound level compromise between TV, Set top box, headphones and those whom can hear better. The order for both items came promptly and instructions are in English. I have in the past contacted Geemarc direct and the Tech team were brilliant. I just hope that technology moves on somewhat soon and give us some competitive choices just like for those that are hearing able.

Fantastic Sound......but instructions could be clearer
I am very deaf with only 20% hearing. These headphones once set up are amazing. It is like someone has flicked a switch and allowed me to hear sounds I have missed out on for many years. I always loved music but lost interest when I could not hear it and appreciate it. These headphones have given it back. They are wireless so I can play my ipod through the transmitter (this gives better sound for me than plugging direct into the phones), so I can move around listening to the music. Ironing is no longer the burden it was!!!!! Plugged into the tv I can hear clearly what is being said and no longer have to rely entirely on subtitles which can be annoying for others. I wish my hearing aids, which are very good ones, had the same clarity as these headphones. The only reason I marked them down is because of the instructions, which in my opinion are very poor. They are made up purely of diagrams, and would definitely benefit from explanatory wording. The diagrams alone, I found, very confusing and I had to work out various things for myself. The other thing is that they need an audio output on the tv and on hi-fi, so if you don't have one one your set you need to buy an optical converter. This is not too expensive but frustrating if you buy the headphones and can't use them straight away. I am thinking of buying another set to keep in a different part of the house, they are just so good, and for the benefit they give, a bargain at the price.

Good for hard of hearing
I read many of the reviews about these headphones and had mixed feeling about buying them for my mother who has hearing aids and watches TV at a very loud volume. I am please to report I have been pleasantly surprised and have no complains. My mother has lost the higher pitched sound in her hearing and you can adjust the tone on the headphones to produce more treble. It sounds awful to me but is perfect for my mother. We can now watch TV at a normal volume and my mother can listen with her headphones at her volume. As far as the wiring is concerned I just plugged the receiver into the Sky Box audio out put at the rear and the headphones worked fine. The instruction book seemed perfectly clear to me and the headphones come with all the leads required for most TV's / Sound systems.........So I have given the product 5 stars.
