Bought this looking for a dr jart cica cream dupe. I have really sensitive, clog and acne prone skin. I use a benzoyl peroxide cream everyday to prevent breakouts, so my skin is very dry and dehydrated.The cream itself is thick and rich but not greasy or oily. It does leave my face a little shiny, but that's not a problem for me. I use this day and night, it work really well under makeup, doesn't care smearing or pillingThe scent is really light and nice, smells like bergamot, really herby and soothing. The smell isn't strong and fades quickly after applying.It's very soothing. I have chronic redness(from eczema) around my nose from irritated skin. This, paired with a tiger grass serum I've been using, has mostly healed the spots where it was really irritated and felt almost raw. I still have a little redness, but it's mostly gone after a few months of use.After starting the BP cream, my skin got really flaky and looked really dull. LOVE! I am lucky enough to have primarily clear skin, however I have a bit of a picking problem, so this has been genius for soothing red spots from digging at blocked pores and tiny whiteheads. I also use it after at-home chemical peels (I use The Ordinary's AHA/BHA peeling solution) and find that I wake up to soft, glowing skin with no irritation. I have wanted to try Dr. Jart's tiger grass cica cream, but the price is prohibitive, so I looked into alternative tiger grass products and came upon this one-- what a find!

I decided to buy this cream after using the serum from the same line for a week. I love that the cream contains Centella Asiatica and Squalane - my two favorite calming properties. The texture's thicker than I expected but mainly because it has Shea Butter. It's easy to spread over my face and took about 10 minutes to fully absorb into my skin, leaving a velvety finish. After using it for my night routine, I notice redness was reduced visibly and my skin felt less irritated the next morning. There is no real scent I can detect, which is a plus for those who have fragrance allergy like me. The results I got after using for 3 days are plainly amazing. My breakout was flattened and skin complexion looked smoother and healthier. It did not cause my any other irritation or breakout while using. Using this cream and the serum really helps my skin dealing with the major breakout on my face. Highly recommend for you guys!!!

I absolutely love this cream. It’s not quite a moisturizer but it works great to moisturize and calm the skin in conjunction with a hyaluronic acid based cream or serum. I find that I get the best results from this product when I use it over an AHA toner or with a vitamin C product. I also usually use it with a hyaluronic acid based moisturizing cream.I’ve found it’s helped a lot with slight acne scaring I have on my face, however, it really only does so when used with an acid.Overall, I recommend this cream a lot and think it’s really helped with reducing redness and increasing brightness.My skin type is combination.

I am amazed at how well this helped in calming my horrible red and awful looking acne. Within 2 uses I could already tell a difference, I only use it in my morning routine and twice have used it at night. Within a week my 90 year old Grandma and other family members were commenting on how my face is looking better and the acne isn't looking so deep. I have on my cheeks and chin; dry skin, active acne (almost all gone), and sensitive hormonal skin and I would recommend this cream to anyone with dry sensitive skin.

Initially I bought this to treat my husband's eczema. However, it's not thick/occlusive enough for that and not economical given the small size.But this is a great overall moisturizer for face. It's a medium-weight cream that's rich enough for oily face in the spring/summer. It's mostly dominated by humectants and emollients, with a bit of shea butter as the occlusive. Lots of calming ingredients like aloe, beta glucan, panthenol, allantoin, and centella-asiatica related ingredients. There's niacinamide as well. Helped to calm my skin when I was trying out a retinyl palmitate product. It has a herby smell, has some plant oils in its ingredient list as well, so be careful if your skin is sensitive to those ingredients.

Finally found my miracle! This is my second order on this. I originally got a more expensive version in my Birchbox a few months ago and noticed it actually helped with my minor acne issues. I tend to get small pimples on my cheeks as well as one or two larger hormone related ones here and there. The hormonal ones I can deal with since it’s just one or two once a month but the cheek issue is maddening! I’ve tried it all and nothing has worked. They are just stubborn. After using the more expensive brand I looked to amazon for a cheaper copycat. I ordered this stuff bc the ingredients were basically the same. After one month my cheeks are healed! I still have some scarring but I can deal with that. I am so excited to have found this and after researching tigers grass it makes sense why this worked for me. I have very sensitive skin and tigers grass is very calming. I think my issue was more allergy related. I’m so excited to have found it!
