Uncoated metal tongs are unsafe!!!! I really wish I would have come across these sooner. I've been using plain metal tongs for years. A couple weeks ago I was feeding my pacman frog and I used the plain metal tongs ive been using for years as usual. When he jumped for the food the tongs got lodged into the inside of his mouth and stuck there for a few seconds until my frog detached from him freaking out. I never knew that could happen. I immediately ordered these metal tongs with a rubber coating. After some research, its pretty common having accidents like that with metal tongs that aren't coated. The length is perfect. They work great, very sturdy. Theyre everything u like about plain metal feeding tongs, but safe. Please, if u use uncoated metal tongs, switch to these coated tongs. U dont want to go through what we went through. I still feel horrible for it happening. They are worth the money. Easy to use. Easy to clean. The black is also very nice.

My son got a new bearded dragon and wasn't keen on manually handling the bugs when feeding. These tongs are a fun way for him to handle all the bug feedings without feeling uncomfortable. His bearded dragon loves eating directly from the tongs as well. They work great. Feel like nice quality and have soft rubber ends. The come in a nice bag for storage. They've taken the stress out of feeding time and actually made it fun for him.

I usually get the name brand tongs, but these were cheaper so I thought I'd try them. I'm glad I did. First, the tips are narrower, which makes it easier to pick up bugs and easier for my bearded dragons and leopard geckos to eat from. Plus, the rubber tips don't come off as easily and don't get ripped as easily. My critters like to bite the tongs so I was constantly throwing out the name brand ones. Highly recommend. (We run a rescue, so we tend to go through supplies pretty quickly. Good quality is appreciated)

These work great for feeding reptiles the soft rubber/silicone ends lprotect the animal from hurting themselves when chomping down they are big enough to keep your fingers out of the mix pretty durable

I use these to feed my cornsnake his f/t mouse. Great to keep my hand away from his mouth though he’s pretty gentle with grabbing it. Never actually strikes at his food. To improve maybe if they had something to hold the it closed

These work great for all my reptiles. Great price for the product. You pay much more at your local pet store for only one.

This is an amazing value. I love the rubber tips for safety. I actually bought these yo feed meal worms to birds. They havent eaten them yet but they did try so I consider it a win. I use to have various reptiles and would highly recommend these.
