Love This Filiment, iv done so many projects, and where i can i buy Elegoo everytime, this is just a couple of projects iv done, and everything iv printed was on the Elegoo CC, and the Elegoo CC2

I use any filament, I'm not a filament snob I buy based on price and I have never had a PLA I couldn't get great prints from. I've used GST3D at 7.99 a roll and loved it and I've used another well known brand at 32.99 a roll and wasn't impressed ( it printed well but wasn't as advertised) Elegoo filament has however become a go to filament, I've bought more rolls of this than any other filament apart from GST but only because I bought a 10 roll deal. It prints very nicely, I've not had a tangle and it's at a great price point. I used to buy a very good filament made by Xingtongzhilian yeah that's a name and a half but the price went up and I'm cheap. Ok I'm not someone who believes you get what you pay for, there is cheap, there is reasonable and expensive and after that the is simply paying whatever for the name, 9 times out of 10 they are all made in the same factory only the logo changes. That's not just filament!

I recently purchased the ELEGOO PLA Filament 1.75mm in Black to use for my 3D printing projects. While the filament prints well overall, I did notice some fuzz on the spool, which is unusual for PLA and something to be aware of. ✔️ What I Like: ✅ Good Print Quality – Despite the fuzz, the filament extrudes smoothly and adheres well to the print bed. The layer adhesion is strong, and the surface finish on prints is quite nice. ✅ Dimensional Accuracy – The filament maintains a consistent 1.75mm diameter ±0.02mm, ensuring reliable extrusion without major clogs or inconsistencies. ✅ Well-Packaged – The spool arrived vacuum-sealed with desiccant, which helps protect against moisture absorption. ❌ What Could Be Better: ⚠️ Fuzz on the Filament – I noticed a slight fuzzy residue on the filament, which is unusual for PLA. While it didn’t cause any immediate printing issues, it’s something I’ll keep an eye on. Running the filament through a dry box or cleaning it before use might help. ⚠️ Price vs. Alternatives – While the quality is good, there are slightly cheaper brands offering similar results. 💡 Final Verdict: The ELEGOO PLA filament is a solid choice for reliable printing, but the presence of fuzz on the filament raises some concerns about possible inconsistencies in manufacturing. If you don’t mind giving it a quick wipe or running it through a filament cleaner, it should work well for most applications. ✔ Best For: Those looking for a high-quality PLA filament with good dimensional accuracy and strong adhesion. ❌ Not Ideal For: Users who want flawless spools with no surface residue straight out of the package. 👉 Overall: 4/5 – Prints well, but the fuzz is a minor concern.

£13 at time of review twin pack I generally use Elegoo PLA, as I’ve found the results really good, with minimal threading on gaps for screw holes etc (I’ve found some PLA’s, especially wood effect ones need a lot of cleaning up afterwards). I had recently modelled and printed a bezel for an old Mac SE (my first computer from 1986!), that I decided to mod, I gutted it and wanted to replace the old CRT screen with a modern 7” LED screen and install a new Mac mini inside. This is a tricky print, as it’s so large and as the PLA condenses it put’s strain on the corner and they can lift and distort, plus there’s a gentle slope on the bezel and numerous screw holes, so thought it was a good test plus I could do a direct comparison. This PLA performed really well, I didn’t run into any issues with corners lifting (although I knew to increase the plate heat and slow down the first few layers, as I had done previously). The results were fantastic as always Hope my review was helpful
