Catherine Lansfield Brushed Cotton Double Fitted Sheet Cream

Absolutely brilliant.It fits my deep, king size mattress & I'm so happy it does as. I've bought others in the past & it's always a real struggle having to pull the heavy mattress up to try & fit the sheets. This was effortless & I know it won't come off (unlike my others)It's perfect for the colder months (October-April) as the brushed cotton is super soft to the touch & very warming/snuggly.The colour is true to the photograph & I would highly recommend it to all ages - children will love the feel of this

I ordered this as a winter fitted sheet to go with my brushed cotton duvet cover. I wanted one that would fit the matress as its a deep one with a quilted matress protector on as well. This sheet is brilliant. It fits snugly all the way over and is of very high quality. The sheet is soft and has washed really well and best of all it hasnt bobbled ( as brushed cotton sometimes does). I wouldnt hesitate to order another and would say if you want a high quality warm soft fitted sheet then get one of these - its first class.I've now ordered a second sheet and it's just as excellent as my first one. The first one has washed and washed without loosing its softness. These really are top quality sheets.

I bought this as a winter sheet, but it should also be suitable for the summer months. It's such a lovely cosy sheet, I'll definitely be buying some more. I did find the brushed cotton a little dusty when I opened it initially, but nothing a couple of washes didn't rectify.It washes really well and is completely crease-free. I've washed this sheet a dozen times and it has just started to show a slight pile, some might say bobbling, but this only makes the sheet even cosier, in my opinion. It remains very soft. The photos bellow were taken after the 12th wash.Some have commented on the sheet not being deep enough for the thicker mattress , but it tucks securely all around my own 6" deep mattress with plenty to spare. I imagine that it would comfortably fit 10" thickness, but maybe not much more than that.The elasticated corners hold the material in place nicely, but I'm not a big fan of how the corners are sown. I think they're supposed to look like fitted sheets, tucked nicely at the sides.Without a doubt, the sheet is definitely worth the money and I imagine the material and elasticated corners will last a long time.

Purchased two king size fitted sheets for the winter. Initially, extremely pleased. Warm, soft, cosy. But after only a few weeks of use the fabric became bobbly and scratchy making the sheets quite uncomfortable, also numerous bobbly bits got stuck on the underside of the duvet cover and won't come off, even in the washing machine, making the duvert cover uncomfortable. Not impressed.

It was so thin it's transparent! Just tried to use it already saw two holes, didn't look around. It might be more. The material touch soft but more like used soft & old material all got balls than it looks brush. Could I have another one for compensation please as this one got holes & transparent, the life span must be short. I believed Catherine Lansfield's name, now this is so lousy.

I haven’t washed yet but out of the package this is a soft and cosy fitted sheet. However, what’s with this trend of putting bed linen in fabric bags? Plastic wrap, then cardboard wrapper, then cotton bag, then the sheet. I’m not keeping that cotton bag for anything - unnecessary and a waste.

It's 100% cotton and it's very nice. It's been serving me well so far, despite many cycles in the washing machine. For some reason I worry that it will come apart in about a year or so. Though maybe I shouldn't expect cotton products to live forever, especially at this price range. Polyester may be sturdier, but it's terrible to sleep under (or "sleep on" in this case). Well, can't have everything. At any rate, I'm very satisfied.

The only downside is , the one I've just bought is shedding it's fluff - on to the carpet next to my bed.Need to hoover it up.But , now am cosy and getting a great night's sleep.
