This is very robust made of strips of recycled tyre held together with thick galvanised wire. The loops at the ends can be bent up or down if required. I fully expect this to last a good few years. It is heavy enough not to be blown away by anything short of a cyclone. Aesthetically it is practical not pretty. I have dogs so I have these outside and washable wet grabbers inside to cover both humans and dogs. Very effective and the dogs aren't as keen to chew as the coir mats.

Received this last week and placed it outside our front porch door. Already, it is doing a brilliant job of cutting down greatly on the dirt and stuff coming into the house. We are on the moor twice a day with the dog so needed a good, heavy duty mat. I chose it because my late Mum in law had a similar one that she had outside her back door for thirty years! This is definitely a good sturdy piece of kit and does a good job.

We use this doormat outside the most frequently used entrance to the house. Living in the countryside it gets a lot of traffic from muddy boots and does a reasonable job of removing the bulk of the mud. It does tend to get clogged up with mud and small stones and so requires periodic cleaning. It appears well made and the wire which holds the rubber strips together is galvanised so should resist corrosion. I’ve tried similar mats in the past and found the wire to be the weak point in the design: once it corrodes and snaps the mat starts to fall apart. This one looks better made than those I’ve previously tried so hopefully will get 5 years or more use from it. On current performance I’d buy again.May 2020 update: may still in good condition, no sign of corrosion or rubber strips degrading.

These door mats are the best ones Iv found. Iv now bought 3. Iv one at front door, one at back door and one at summerhouse. Had a good one at my front door for about 20 years, threw it away and bought different ones that were rubbish, until these ones, these are hard wearing and will last a long time.

Thanks to all the others who left reviews. Have had a similar mat in the fron of the house for maybe 30 years, but after a recent redo of the flags borders etc it needed to be renewed and as so many have already said this is just perfect. Never gets dirty. lasts and last and looks good too. Better than anything else I have ever tried. So goo I am getting one for the back door.

Wow, this is one weighty door mat. Needed something durable as it's placed in an open environment and hasn't budged even in strong winds. Only used it for a couple of months now but it's so sturdy I'd expect it to last for years.

Absolutely wonderful mat. Was looking for a nice rubber mat, but didn't want this traditional mat everybody has at their front door. This looks so different, the quality is superb, can't be more happy with the purchase. Worth every penny.
