life. altering.
TWO YEAR UPDATE: Somehow, everything in my original comment continues to be true. I've run this air purifier literally CONTINUOUSLY for twenty-two months and this little workhorse is STILL going strong. I've gone through three filters in that time, and straight talk this might be the best purchase for the money I have ever made.I've seen reviews that say the filter goes out of stock all the time, but maybe I've just been really lucky because they've been available when I needed them - i'm averaging 8 months per filter, but I'm also vacuuming the extra accumulated gunk off every month or so.This is STILL an excellent purchase, and I still heartily recommend it. Side perk, it's actually saving me money on Swiffer dusters, because I'm not having to dust as often. This one's a winner!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I don't, generally, leave reviews on products, but I have to make an exception here. This is the single most life-improving purchase I've made in YEARS, full-stop. I've had this air purifier for less than twenty-four hours and straight-talk, I didn't know it was -possible- to wake up without a stuffy nose and stopped-up ears; I figured I was gonna have to shell out for surgery to fix my deviated septum and get ear tubes again, but no.It's a running joke with my friends and family that I'm allergic to the entire earth, and they're not that far off. I have terrible asthma on top of some other things, and I bought this air purifier ahead of my allergy season because the price was great, and I was hoping maybe I could stay out of the ER this year. I was not expecting miracles. I keep a pretty clean place already because, see above, allergic to -everything-, and every other air purifier I've seen rated for the size of my apartment cost two to six times as much as this one.I don't know what this little buddy is filtering, but I have NEVER breathed this well. Is this what it's supposed to be like, is this what it's like for healthy people all the time? The Pro Breeze is a STEAL. It'd be a steal at three times the price. It could stop working in a month (god forbid!) and I'd turn around and immediately buy another one without flinching. I'm telling everyone I know about it, it's that great. WORTH EVERY CENT, DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR FRIENDS.

A mighty little miracle!
Our gorgeous glass porch had become disgusting because it's also my husband's cigar bar. When we had it built, I insisted that it BETTER not get like that so we bought a pricey "air scrubber." This particular purifier requires expensive smoke-specific filters if that's what you're hoping to clean up. Well---it ain't workin' out. The room stinks, he stinks, I stink, our dogs stink. Sometimes I walk out there and have to wave my hands around to even find the perpetrator! The vaulted windows have to be professionally washed--my dream-room had become a nightmare. At first, I did some research on ozone generators but apparently, ozone is dangerous to plants. So, here I am huffing second-hand smoke and my husband is worried about ozone. With some more research, though, I learned that ozone and negative ions are not the same thing. Since Amazon has so many customers, I live and die now by reviews---if something has "Be the first to review this product," no way. The search option of "show me only four and five star reviews, I can quickly weed out the losers and junk. Price-wise, this one was in the running--and had almost all 5 star reviews. There were even some at the same price point that had no replacement filters available--WTH? This one spoke to me---I had it in less than two days. I saw it on the porch and had it set up in about two minutes. I set it up in front of the ptac unit that heats and cools the room. The heat was not on; the manual says it should not be near a heat source. The unit is light enough that it can be picked up (had a pick-up indent) and easily moved, unlike our massive scrubber on wheels. I turned it on---the fan is a little noisy to start out with, but it quickly finds its grove and is very quiet, even on high. I laid down on the couch out there to observe--and was asleep in minutes. I brought it into the bedroom overnight---again, it makes less noise than the furnace. I am still not sure how to turn the lights off and not knock the fan down---Sleep mode turns off the lights but the fan speed went down. LOVE the ion generator. My only complaint about that is that in the daylight, you cannot see if you're generating ions or not. The control lights show bright blue in the dark but do not show in daylight. The stogy smoker here decided to give it the acid test this morning. He sat where he always does and blew smoke in the Pro Breeze's direction. He said the smoke collected itself in its regular cloud form, got within about 6 feet of the Pro Breeze and didn't so much dissipate but plummet downward and disappear. He said it was pretty entertaining. Not that I bought this thing for its entertainment value, but even he has to admit there was a major problem that the Pro Breeze has solved---or so far, anyway. Some other purifier reviews include reports of their units going along fine, then refusing to turn on. I will INDEED let you all know if that happens. But, I am currently delighted that this little purifier (that cost less than a new set of filters for the "big gun" in the room) is doing its job while entertaining my husband. The big scrubber has a remote that is used often because running on high, the thing is so loud, you cannot hear each other talk. When I first went looking for a smaller unit to run out there, I avoided "true HEPA" because I did not want to be tied to buying more filters than we already have to buy. The single filter in this is rated to run 5000 hours before a replacement is needed. The manual suggests vacuuming it once a month. And, when we need one, they are readily available right here. I don't know of any smell more pervasive than cigar or cigarette smoke--if this thing can clear that from a closed room, it can do just about anything.

Works great
Second one I’ve purchased and we love them. I turn it on every night in my daughters room and there is considerable less dust in the room, also makes the perfect amount of white noise nest to her door to drown out everything going on in the house.

Great product at a reasonable price with a low maintenance cost.
I like the fact that it not only filters the air but also has an ionizer which is a very important feature to me. Most other air purifiers I looked at did not have the ionizing feature and the replacement filters were too expensive. The replacement filters for the Pro Breeze are reasonably priced which was a major factor in my decision to purchase along with the cost of the unit. The only con is it's a little loud on high fan but tolerable. The Pro Beeze has significantly improved the air quality in my house.

Great machine
Love this air purifier. Easy to use and very quiet. I’ve noticed a big difference in my air quality. I live on a dirt road and I have a dog that when you look at her the hair falls out. Since I’ve been using this the dust is less and so is the dog hair. Don’t know how I ever lived without an air purifier but I know I will never be without one again, and the air quality is much better also. Have not had to replace the filter yet, it’s only been a month or so. So I’m curious on how long it will take before it needs to be done. Anyway I highly recommend this machine, I am very as of now.

Good product at good value
Product (Pro Breeze air purifier) was not sold by company in my state but found it on Amazon slightly higher in price. It is small, light and quiet. Seems to do the trick— my summer cottage is slightly musty when I open for season but this little gem cleared the air quickly. I have moved it around very easily and left it running to test sound and service. Have not left it on at night or tested programming. It definitely lived up to its reviews— good product at good value.
