Parrot Teleprompter V2 for Smartphones - with Parrot Wireless Remote

I'm new to using teleprompters and after reading reviews I chose the Parrot. First the negative, I ran into a problem with it fitting on my video camera because I couldn't get any of the adapters to fit but finally, I figured it out. Because of the fit of the adapter I have to put the phone onto the teleprompter before slipping the teleprompter onto the video camera. The good news is that it works. Second, the positive. It is easy to use. I downloaded the app and began using it right away. The app needs a little tweaking because I can't seem to erase all the old files from it and it doesn't interact with dropbox as smoothly as it could. This is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star rating. Controlling the speed is simple because I purchased the hand held control which made it easy to use. Because of its size, if I get more than about 5 or 6 feet away it is difficult to use. You can't use it outdoors - which really wan't a surprise. There are also excellent training videos on YouTube. It's not perfect but for the price its hard to beat.

This saved my life! My filming and editing time has been cut in half!!! Ignore the bad reviews caused by the difficult set up and follow these tips:1. To connect to the remote, you need to press the button in really far. I tried pushing it in with my finger and it wasn't far enough. I thought it was defective. I got the lid of a ballpoint pen and pushed the button in all the way and voila!!! The little light started blinking and then it connected.2. I have a piece of duct tape on the bottom of the tray that I secure my phone to just in case it wants to slide out. It's not pretty, but it works.3. The top buttons on the remote are deceiving. The buttons on the bottom are the ones you need to pay attention to. They stop, rewind, and fast forward the text.4. When you click the buttons normally, the camera mic can pick up the sound. Press the edge of the button slowly and the buttons are silent.So, there are quirks you need to overcome with this teleprompter, but they are minor and well worth the small price you have to pay. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TELEPROMPTER!

The physical product is amazing. Genius design!The Teleprompter app however falls short of other one available but that’s ok as they all work with the physical unit. I use PromptSmart Pro.I’d use the Parrot app if I would upload my doc scripts to it via Dropbox etc (at the moment of have to type)....and here is the big one.I love having a remote that allows me to scroll, however with high end microphones you can hear the buttons ‘click’ when pushed.A silent remote and a facility to upload scripts to the app and I’ll be first in the queue for V3.

I love this TelePrompter . It’s very helpful and it reflects your information clearly. It makes life easier for those with a lot of information and details to learn .The only problem I had was connecting the remote to my phone . I have an iPhone 7 Plus and it doesn’t connect to the remote easily. Overall , I think this purchase is very good and I recommend it .

It doesn't matter if you use this for personal or professional use, this thing is amazing and is the fix I always needed that I didn't know I was missing. I can get work done in half the time, and no longer have to deal with someone in front of the camera who freezes up the moment we hit record. It's a no-brainer, just buy it!

The product is high quality and am sure it will lasts for years. The app is easy to use and setup within minutes. Excellent value!

Great product! Easy to carry around and easy to use. It fits most of the lenses with many sizes of adapter rings.

This Parrot Teleprompter is affordable and is a must have tool for video bloggers. Great product for the money!
