The toy is very sturdy, but the attachments brake easily. The attachments also don't stay attached when you try to play with them.

I think as expecting plastic attachments for this construction toy, as is standard. They are metal, so they're not likely to break.Unfortunately, the attachments don't stay on without a little gaffers tape or something to help. They just gravity hang on the front carriage piece.
