This were very useful for blocking the trem arm on my guitar. Sliding two shims against one another allows for fine-tuning the thickness of the fitting. It saves needing to cut, shave and sand wood blocks to thickness, Just shorten (cut) the length of shims to fit the trem cavity, then slide the shims over each other to get the exact thickness needed to block the trem. Once done, glue the shims together, then put into place in the trem cavity. I find this method of blocking-the-trem easier than some of the other solutions.

Useful addition to my working cupboard. I fitted new kitchen kickboards and these are really quite tricky to fit so I user these wood shims to secure them in place rather than faff around with clips / and / or screws. You can make these shims shorter so once fitted they don't protrude...

Nothing special, but ok. Tad too expensive for what they are.

So we have a home built by someone who had a clear vision, either as a drunk or possibly a nutter. Either way it's not built with straight lines or level floors in mind. We have been moving furniture around lately, which is mostly a bad idea as some of the items we have were on parts of the floor where it was level. Anyway, we moved the fireplace and it was up against the wall but wobbly. So glad I had some shims in the toolbox. One on each end, no-one can even see them, and it wobbles no longer. The cost is low but it seems like the quality is decent. They are capable of holding a bit of weight, and I have shuffled that weight around on top of them. They are doing the job as needed.

I liked the fact that I needed a certain size wedge, what I found was exactly what I wanted and was relieved to find that when I received the product, it was what I wanted. Simple search, find and order. Received within 3 days and used the next. Perfect buying experience, couldn’t be better.
