What is the height from top to bottom

With the ram all the way down, toe height is 5/8" and top platform is 8-3/4". With the ram all the way up, toe height is 5-3/8" and top platform is 13-5/8".

Can this be used to lift a corner of a shipping container?

I don’t know how much a shipping container weighs, but I have lifted the heavy end of a 3000 pound lathe several times with this toe jack.
