It's possibly one of the worst phones I've ever used
Mine arrived yesterday and I sent it back the same day. It's possibly one of the worst phones I've ever used. A rugged Android with a physical keypad sounds good but in this case, a disaster. I had to reboot the phone just to get the volume control on the media player to work. Texting is an absolute faff. It would be easier and quicker to send smoke signals. The software is old and seems to have a lot of mysterious files with Chinese script on them. Call quality on the earpiece is abysmal. It sounds as if the caller is speaking down a drain pipe and it's very tinny. The screen is poor, with lots of menu boxes overlapping and/or being completely invisible unless the phone is tilted. The start-shutdown chimes are loud enough to be heard from France and can't be turned off.A burial beneath 40 storeys of concrete high-rise would be the ultimate test of this rugged 'phones' ability.

I love mine and find the torch so useful
This is the Chuck Norris of phones. I love mine and find the torch so useful. Startup/shutdown tone is silly loud but is frankly a small issue to work around.

Reliable and rugged
Best phone I've ever had for work. I've used it about 8 months or so and it gets dropped atleast once a week and still works. If the screen wasn't small it would have cracked long ago. A different launcher can be downloaded from google play to customize the home screen if the default doesn't suit you. The startup chime is loud but turning the volume to silent before rebooting resolves it. For texting I use the built-in speech to text feature. The built in flashlight is amazing. If you use your phones more for entertainment than anything else, this probably isn't for you. However if you want a practically indestructible touch screen phone, this phone is second to none. Im very happy to see a company make a phone with a keypad and flashlight on the end that doesn't use the camera flash.

Zero stars.
I wanted a simple, robust mobile that would stand up well to outdoor use.The positive - this phone has a large battery so should function for a while. It feels very solid, almost like a walkie talkie, it feels like it will withstand some harsh conditions. The speaker is amplified so ring tones and speaker phone calls are loud and effective. The negative - when you switch the phone on (or off) there is a jingle, a chime, which lasts about five seconds - it is incredibly loud, deafening, disturbs the whole house or office. It can not be turned off. I'm not certain what the purpose is but I have never heard anything like it.- the screen is very poor in all but a dark room, any use outside is impossible as the screen cannot be seen.- the software is 'odd', it appears as though they are trying to run an Android smartphone on about a two inch screen, nothing fits and it functions all wrong. The on screen keyboard is so tiny you can just about read it let alone be able to type anything on it.So for me it is a very robust physical phone that is completely unusable as a phone. The software and the poor screen are the big issues that need to be addressed by the manufacturer. Very disappointing, there is a market out there for robust non smart phones. On this occasion the designers and quality control could not have gone more wrong. Mine was returned same day.
