Neewer is great for quality gear at great prices, and this is a perfect example. I do video production for a living, but wanted a mic for home gaming. This mic isn't professional quality, but it's close enough. For around 20 bucks, it's close to rivaling a mic that costs hundreds. Plus it's built well with all metal housing, so it doesn't feel cheap either.It's missing some low end bass response, but that can be eq'ed back in. If you're going to use this for a computer, I'd advocate for skipping the pre-amp and go straight to an interface if possible. There's less noise, and you have more control.Overall, any minor flaws are far outweighed by the incredible value. If you're on the fence, go for it.

After various youtube and amazon reviews (not so recently posted) I decided on purchasing two sets of these mics for foley, gaming and my upcoming podcast endeavors, the sound from these mics is, in my opinion, great (to say the least) I'll be purchasing another 2 soon enough for extra guests. Build quality is better than expected (as with most Neewer items. I've purchased quite a few of their photography accessories and have been pleased with them so far). Sound, as I've stated before, is great (once they've been adjusted via my choice of recording app). The arm is surprizingly sturdy and easy to manipulate (ive even used it to mount my canon to get some good shots of items on my work bench) and the included cables are almost the same quality as more expensive brands. 10/10. Pleased with my purchase, I'll most likely be reviewing these on my podcast as I've recommended these to everyone I game with as well! As other reviewers have stated, using these with a laptop or ipad, you'll have to purchase a phantom power supply (which neewer also sells), otherwise if you're using a desktop you wont need the power supply but it's still good to have on hand just in case.

If you plan to connect this to a PC, you're going to need the 48V Phantom Power Supply, so be sure to buy that too. I've been using this microphone for about a month. For the price, you get a boom arm, windscreen and pop filter and oh hey, a free microphone! The mic is better than a plain webcam that's several feet away and for the money it's hard to complain about it. Anything I compare it to for quality will cost 5-10 times as much. The sound isn't anywhere near top notch, but for simple podcast type recording, it's sufficient.

Out of the box without phantom power? Not great but that is to be expected.In my case I went for a Focusrite Solo 3rd gen as it has 48v phantom power along with a Monoprice XLR cable, the quality with this mic with the proper setup is great, the included boom arm works perfectly.The pop filter is a PITA to setup but you don't need it, the included foam is more than enough.Easily outperforms my friends Blue Yeti but perhaps thats an unfair comparison being a USB all in one setup.

The clamp broke and the male end on the bottom of the mic stand bent due to the weight of my Rhodes N1A mic with shock mount.

Pues le diré, por lo que pagas que básicamente es por el brazo recibes un micrófono de condensador este no es de la mejor calidad pero tampoco genera muchos inconvenientes si tiene una colorización rara en la voz pero si los usarás para hacer podcast en vez de grabar te funcionarán muy bien. El brazo se siente fuerte y fácil de armar, pero hace poco el pegamento que tiene en la base comenzó a despegarse y la rosca necesita mucha presión para mantenerl en lugar. Además la rosca donde se coloca la base de microfonos no es la universal, por lo que no puedo colocar la de otros micrófonos, eso me decepcionó un poco pero realemnte por lo que pagas es una buena inversión si tomas en consideración lo que te mencione previamente.

Recording videos for tube sites is my favorite thing to do after work. I love to review games,and i wasn't getting the sound quality i wanted so i did some shopping. I love the stability and maneuverability of the boom and the mic preforms well. The pop filter is a nice touch as it stops the traffic in the background from making it into my audio feed. Well priced and well built.

Excellent microphone set for the price. The mic is very sensitive. Using with the Neewer phantom power and it sounds so good. The boom arm and pop filter alone would probably cost just as much as this entire kit if you bought them on their own. Would definitely recommend this.

Switched to a dedicated mic from the previous mic attached headset for greater freedom. Quality is comparable and generally good.I purchased this as an introduction to better audio for online calls and occasional streaming. For the price, the quality is phenomenal, you won't find better at this $. It will still certainly benifit from additional equipment/software to go from good to great.This mic definitely needs 48v phantom power to operate properly. Cheap solutions exist but I've paired mine with a Scarlett Solo Preamp. Adding even an entry level entusiest audio interface may seem like overkill but really does bring this mic up from being just a good budget start to being a serious contender wither much better mics. Additionally, adjusting settings within the interface software as well as utilizing background noise control software such as RTX Voice, will substantially improve your experience.The boom arm is again, excellent for the cost, though much better options exist for a premium. The included shock mount is good but I did replace the included pop filter in favour of a smaller footprint wind screen.TL;DR incredible mic and arm combo for the price. Will require phantom power and highly benifit from a good preamp. Arm is good. Value is the name of the game with this one and a little extra work can make it sound excellent.

El mejor kit de micrófono que pude conseguir por un precio muy bajo. Me encanta el micro, junto con este kit adquirí una behringer uphoria m2 y un cable XLR Ugreen (que lo venden aquí mismo en Amazon) y la calidad de grabación es excelente (hasta rebasa con creces) para lo que necesito: para hacer presentaciones de mis tareas escolares universitarias pues antes tenia un micro de esos muy baratitos de solapa pero la calidad no se compara con este micro neewer. Me parece que este micrófono es muy bonito. Los materiales del brazo no me parecen tan resistentes (brazo genérico) pero por lo que uno paga está super bien. Estoy muy feliz con esta compra.

Used with decent amp(Behringer UMC-22) this mic has an awesome quality vs. its cheap as hell price. It's easily worth it as the shock mount, mic arm and other stuff are actually of reasonable quality.
