First thing's first: THIS THING HAS POCKETS. I don't buy clothes if they come without pockets anymore and this has POCKETS.I really wanted a shirt-skirt dress because it's good way to look like you put in some effort into your wear, while only having to go through the trouble of pulling on one article of clothing. This did everything I wanted!PROS1) Pockets. Yes, this must be said again. They're pretty big, too. I can comfortably spread out my hands in the pockets, and I have bigger-than-normal-hands for a woman.2) Plaid B&W design is awesome! Happened to receive tons of compliments about it, too.3) Shirt section is stretchy. I don't even have to undo the zipper, I just pull it right on.4) Thin, lightweight. Great for normal-to-warm days.5) Has held up to 3 washes (and machine drying on AIR for a couple hours), and several days of wear.CONS1) Seems a wee bit expensive for how thin the material is. I don't think the stitching is that great, either, but I'm pretty careful with my work wear, so I don't expect it to tear too easily.2) Skirt fullness from picture isn't possible even with a petticoat. I don't expect the skirt to be fluffy on its own, but I do expect it to work well with a petticoat. The skirt does not have enough yard length to it to fold the way it does in the picture. If you add a petticoat, even a mild, barely-fluffy petticoat, the skirt starts looking more blocky and flat. The closest thing I could find that works is the DRESSTELLS knee length petticoat.3) Dress is a bit more on the large size. It's at that awkward point where I'm in between two of their sizes and one is a bit loose and the other might be a bit tight.4) Zipper is a bit awkward. I don't mind too much, but others may find the way the zipper bulges sometimes, bending the back slightly out of shape, to be annoying. The thin material of the shirt makes it more obvious.OTHER1) I ordered a XL and a L to try both sizes. XL fit better and L was super loose, so I think they accidentally put the L into the XL and the XL into the L.Overall, I really love this! Although I think they're a bit expensive, I do want to see about buying more. I love keeping things simple and clothes like this help me to do so.

I seriously want to live in this dress. I’m 5’5” 150lbs and bought a large. This is the second one I purchased. I liked the first so much I came back for more. I honestly would wear these dresses every day. SO comfortable and flattering. I’m a teacher and this is the easiest thing to throw on for a day in the classroom. It’s modest, comfy, professional, and cute!

Purchased this for my daughter to wear in a play where she was a female version of Sherlock Holmes. This dress was perfect for the role but so cute she will wear it on a regular basis. She received several compliments on it. The fabric is soft and flowy. She's a size 4-6, the small fit her well.

I’m impressed with this dress. It’s comfortable breathable and classy. Machine washable durable and great quality with pockets. I honestly was afraid it would be a bad quality or flimsy like a lot of the Amazon buys I try … not this one it’s great and has no weird smell like some of the stuff. Definitely will be adding a few more to my wardrobe.

Update: This dress is hot. I wore it on a summer day and I couldn't wait to get it off. The top felt heavy and had no air flow. I was indoors most of the event but after an hour, I wanted to change clothes.Such a nice dress! I struggled with picking a size but it fits great. I have a very large bust so I went with a size that would make sure I didn't have an issue like others where the top didn't fully cover. The part where the top and skirt meets does land just above my waistline which is just fine and everything is a bit loose fit. I would have preferred a bit more snug but this way you don't see any back rolls or belly. The shirt part is of a thicker material but is soft and comfortable. The skirt material helps hold the shape. It does fall below the knee for me but that may be because I'm short.Also the arms are big like a regular shirt and not tight fitting like the photos. All in all, I am in love with this dress and I want to try one size smaller to see if I can get it to perfect status.

So it’s not *exactly* what I imagined, but it’s still a great quality dress. Has good stretch. Can’t see through it. Very comfortable. I got a 2XL after reading reviews. It fits me perfectly. I’m normally in a size 18/20 pants. It comes down slightly below my knees. I added a waist belt for it to be extra flattering. :) debating on if I want to buy some other styles in this dress now.

I purchased this dress in a large and it fit like a glove! So I ordered another pattern in a large but could not get the zipper up so will be returning

Best thing about this dress are the pockets!The material is thicker, not see through at all. I like it because it isn't thin, stretchy or clings to things you don't want emphasized. It's comfortable, fits well, looks flattering on and did I mention the pockets? I also liked the 3/4 sleeve that covers my elbows. So hard to find dresses with sleeves that cover your elbows.

Comfortable dress. My measurements are 42inch bust, 35inch waist and 47inch hips. I ordered a Large and it fit perfectly. I love that it has pockets! Great colour too.

The media could not be loaded.  I think this videos captures my excitement pretty well as I discover the pockets for the first time here. Overall it’s a beautiful dress it’s a little itchy at the top but I have extremely sensitive skin so it could just be me. It’s not that itchy tho. Definitely wash it with sensitive skin detergent if you have skin like mine then you’ll be good to go.

First off, I love this dress!! The length, the patterns, the fit are all pretty perfect. The skirt portion is quite staticy and will need a slip so that it doesn't stick to my legs. Also, strangely the openings to the pockets are a touch smaller (or higher up?) than feels natural. Those are small problems though. I will very likely be buying more of these in different patterns.
