They work
They're a good quality product, and will work on a small smoker cook chamber lid. Due to the size, I couldn't use them. So I gave them to a friend who has a Landman vertical smoker. They worked great. After using the lava rock black felt gasket for the Big Green Egg around his cook chamber door. We installed them on the flange of the cook chamber door. They worked beautiful to seal in the cook chamber, so there's no heat loss. Installing the gasket and clamps took a total of 30 min. What a difference.Amazon shipping and price couldn't be beat.

These worked beautifully as a way to harness every ounce of heat from my smoker. Well worth it. Really dumb that they don't come with screws though.

Latches were at a good price aware easy to install on my smoker.
Latches were easy to put on my smoker. They worked perfect and were easy to adjust. I would recommend to use lock washers with the adjusting nuts it will keep them tight.

They work well
These worked well on holding down my smokers lid. Just wish they would of been a little more adjustable.

It's ok
It does help keep the lid closed and keep the smoke in the chamber the "rubber" end did melt on the firebox side, but held up well on the other side.It did not come with screws, washer and bolt. Also, to get the maximum use of it's predrilled holes, I had to use metric screws and bolts.Overall ok value when all things are considered and it works well with the insulated gasket seal to retain the smoke.

Good hold down.
I use this on my Kingsford Rancher XL smoker main chamber door. It keeps it nice and tight and would get 5 stars but it comes with no mounting hardware.
