I was using an hdmi extender with a built in IR extender to contol my spectrum cable box between floors of my house. The video portion worked great, but there were a lot of issues with the IR extender. Besides having to choose between multiple channels to figure out which one worked best, it still had delay issues. Decided to give this a try. Unplugged the old IR connections and set this up. No channel selections, easy set up, and it worked better than my old setup ever did. Delay issues went away. So far, extremely happy and I would recommend.

Recommend. Works very well with a Sony Stereo Receiver. The transmission and receiver “pucks/discs” are pretty small(little bigger than a quarter) and very light weight. The weight of the power cord can pull/move them. I would suggest some Velcro tape to help hold them in correct positions.

this is exactly what you need if your system is in one room and you have remote speakers in another. now I can easily control volume from a second room when listening to music out of range of the stereo remote sensor. the little pucks are smaller than I expected, which is a good thing. they were plug and play, no setups required, no stupid apps, no remote wifi or bluetooth . just works. and works with my “vintage” stereo remote from the 80’s. these are hard to beat for the money. comes with everything you need.

Exceeded expectations! Works very well. With closed metal door and walls about 20 feet between them. It was for a direct tv box connected in the other room with a wireless HDMI splitter from the direct tv box to two tvs. Flawless!

Works better than expected. Older repeaters required a lot of time determining a code for the brand of device you wanted to control. This model seemed like a plug and play right out of the box. Easy set up and so far working great. A little pricey, but I can finally close the door to my cabinet where my AV receiver was located.

Works perfectly. Needed to control a Pioneer receiver from an outdoor deck. Set up was quick and easy. Transmitter and receiver are small and easy to manage.

This product was so confusing and difficult to set up that I needed to return it. I still need a solution and if this product would’ve had clear instructions, it might’ve worked for me. It is confusing what you were supposed to plug into where and which item is supposed to be positioned where. It would take me hours of troubleshooting to figure this out.

This is a genuine review!! When I say this works, it works perfectly! My receiver is around the corner about 25’ to 30’ away total distance. This controls my outdoor stereo with zero lag. Easy to set up, easy to use. However, instructions say when you test, the blue light will flash. No, the blue light does not flash, it is solid when you press a button on your remote!
