Originally invented as a bow and arrow for the extra-lazy medieval soldier, the crossbow combines the fun of drawing a string to fire a bolt with the simplicity of a trigger release mechanism. The Cross Dart is a modernised version that replaces pointy arrows with much better sucker darts (that stick to windows rather than break them). Simply pull back the string and load a dart, then take aim down the sight at the target provided or another flat surface. Pull the trigger to let loose the bolt and send it flying up to 50 feet! The Cross Dart became a very quick office favourite that sparked a couple of marksmanship contests (and demonstrated that it's a bad idea to hand Leanne a loaded crossbow.) This toy crossbow features metal limbs that curve forward, allowing it to store and release more energy when the trigger is pulled. This recurve design means that the Raven Crossdart can shoot a lot further than other toy crossbows in this price range. With an effective range of more than 15 metres, it's perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. In the box you'll find the crossbow in two parts. It is quick and easy to assemble, requiring only a single screw to be fitted to hold the bow limbs in place. With such a simple set up, you'll be ready to start target practice within minutes! Also in the box are six sucker darts that are rubber tipped and designed to stick to smooth surfaces. On the reverse of the box is a cardboard target that can be cut out and propped up wherever necessary.
