Beautiful
These lanterns are made very well and look good. As others have said, this is not intended for reading or to light up a room. They are an accent light and quite romantic. I dim them and the batteries last quite a long time - more than the 17 hrs mentioned. You will like them.

Stay charged for a long time
These are very pretty. Bought them for power outages instant flashlights. Use them for decorative lighting in the meantime!

Do not buy this lamp. Does not work after recharging
This lamp is well built and feels heavy in a good way. However when the battery ran out and I recharged it, it stopped working. It would turn on for a split second and turn off. Too bad the return date has passed. I would not recommend this product.
