It was easy to watch the video to make the dinosaur. The instructions not that easy to undeestand

This doesn't seem to me to be for beginners.

The yarn is to delicate. It frays easily.

My young niece wanted to learn how to crochet and I saw this kit. It comes with everything she will need to complete it. The best part is she will be able to have something tangible when she is done so she can see the reward of her labor.

This kit is great, its not too many things at once, it comes with everything you need and not a bunch of extra stuff, the yarn feels very nice, the hook it kind of cheep and basic but thats all a starter kit needs, i chose to try it with their hook but prefer my nicer ones. the pattern was clear and easy to follow and I think this would make a very cute kit for a beginner. There are 2 complaints but not bad enough to remove a star but should be noted. 1st the needle was surprisingly sharper than it should be not like a sewing needle but pointier and would make me nervous with a child having it without supervision, it is sharper than all my darning needles. 2nd the safety eyes did not come with backs. I find that to be extremely frustrating and i had to fish out some extra backs from my stuff I already have, without the backs the eyes will definitely pop out, this is not ideal and I would recommend anyone make sure you have extra backs or find a good way to secure the eyes that is more guaranteed not to pop out

i was excited to make a dinosaur, but...this is definitely not for people without experience. the yarn is cute, the idea is cute, the videos and instructions are cool, but this would be so much better if there was a full video showing creation from start to finish. seeing one video at a time is less overwhelming and you get to see how to do each crochet method separately, but i seriously need a full length creation video. that's what i was expecting, hence why i bothered ordering this. just disappointed that this isn't as novice-friendly as it could be.

Great kit. Quality tools and yarn. Instructions come in booklet form and video. I would buy from again. However I keep getting an error when going yo the videos. Frustrating

I've become obsessed with amigurumi, and I love seeing what little animals I can find to crochet. These small kits are perfect projects to take while traveling, because they're self-contained with everything needed to complete them, don't take up much room in your baggage, and are easy to do.Cons of this kit:The general instructions for how to do stitches are in small, hard to decipher pictures. I much prefer clear drawings.This kit comes in a bag instead of a box. The bag is self-closing so you can keep reusing it until your project is done, but the opening is smaller than the contents and it's hard to get the stuff out. I prefer the items to come in a box.Pros of this kit:All materials are included: yarn, stuffing, crochet hook (there are two, and one is double-ended), stitch counters, safety eyes, yarn needle, and instructions.QR codes are provided to take you to videos where you can get more in-depth instruction for learning the stitches.The text on the pattern instructions is big! Thank you! Old eyes can't read small text and it's nice to not have to get a magnifying glass out to read them.The color of the yarn is lovely. This is going to be a cute little dinosaur when it's completed.
