Excellent !
I bokashi all my food scraps. The ultimate easy way to compost.I used to have a compost pile and always struggled with the brown:green ratio and getting it hot enough to compost. And I got too old to physically turn the pile. Then I went to worm composting. That works great, but they are living creatures so if you don’t feed them they die. If you feed them too much all at once they can’t keep up and it smells. But, I loved my “boys”, as I called them and I successfully worm composted for years. Not too sustainable if you go on a long vacation and nobody is there to feed them. My little colony passed on.Then I found bokashi. The history of it is easy to research. You’ll be impressed. Anaerobic, no pile turning, no creatures to keep alive, no bad smell (just vinegar smell which is ok). I started with a small bag of EM, liked the successful process and went full guns for the 5 gallon bucket. It’s more cost effective to do a bucket. Doesn’t “go bad” so use it as you need. Highly recommended this and bokashi composting. Even just researching it and reading of its increasing use worldwide was a fun learning experience.
