On TimeWildlife Feeders Tomahawk Vl Feeder w/ 25 Gal Hanger, Black, 42100

I have mine suspended. Has been up 5 years in a river bottom area and no problems with pests. I added a solar panel to mine.

ordered 3. 2 work flawlessly but the motor on the third feeder never worked. Keeps time good though.

I hung this from a tree and in the first week, squirrels had chewed a giant hole in the lid. I then replaced the lid with a metal trash can lid and by the next week the squirrels had chewed another hole in the side.The product did work as it was intended. The timer would cycle when it was programed to do so and it did spray out the contents (corn) but with the varmints eating the feeder I found it worthless for my application. I ended up taking the motor, spreader and timer off of it and putting them on a metal trash can. Now I do not have a problem with squirrels eating my feeder.Jim Hammond

Bought 2 of these after putting expensive high protein feed in, the weight distorted and the cap was eventually shoved open.

TRASHsquirrels two holes in the top and therefore moisture destroys the whole mechanism

Don't waste your money. Company impossible to deal with. Junk from China that doesn't work right out of the box.

I received this feeder for Christmas last year finally got to use it this fall within a week the sguirrels had 4 holes chewed through the plastic barrel I called the company where it was purchased and they said said this happens all the time and they were willing to sell me a new barrel plus shipping what a rip would NOT recommend this product !!!!!
